25cl bottle bought in France, pours orange-amber with a white foam, aromas of caramel, a little hay and a hint of orange marmalade. Palate is sweetish, with a touch of cherry, a little toffee, some roast malt, a warming alcohol kick, and peppery hops and faint hints of stewed pear on the aftertaste.

Aroma of candy sugar, cherry, milk chocolate and light bubblegum. Appearance is murky red/brown with slight tan head. Flavor is similar to a cherry flavored tootsie roll with an undercurrent of the aforementioned bubblegum. Palate is bubbly. Interesting for the style; kinda like a farmhouse ale meets a Flemish brown ale.

Had at Bastille Day festival in Manhattan. Pours red and nose is of dried fruits and booze. tastes of stewed fruit, caramel, floral notes, autumn leaves, and some earth. finish is slightly boozy and palate is kinda sticky

Malzig-süßlicher Geruch. Antrunk malzig. Leicht kaffeesüßlich in der Mitte. Dann hopfig, etwas schokoladenmalzig und trocken im Abgang. Gleichzeitig noch alkoholisch und weinmäßig angehaucht.

No smell. But if it did have a smell, it would smell like coffee. Copper color. Sweet and bitter. A pretty good beer.

Decent looking clear body with bubbly head. Aroma like a bock style beer, kind of sweet from summer fruits and with a hint of spices. Kind of straightforward and not as ’sweaty’ as expected. Aroma is better, nice and sweet but with enough character. Banana and roasted peanuts in here, too. Not very complex this beer but it fairs well and is a nice find in a small French supermarket next to the mass-produced lagers. (75cl bottle in Tours)

33cl bottle by SMA supermarket in Rome. This is the very first bière de garde I tried in life and I was surprised. I never expected good beer coming from France. The aroma is floreal, a bit fruity. Color red, quite clear. Refreshing and harmonious taste. It’s perfect to drink while you eat fish or seafood
