Can 50cl. A clear amber beer with medium carbonation. A very sweet and malty caramel beer, as many other amber ale, some spices and less hop character. Not bad but too spicy for me.

Pours amber with a big off-white head. Nose is very malty and is similar to a good barley wine (I’m unfamiliar with this style), with apples and caramel both distinct smells. Very pleasant. Flavor is similar but not quite as bold as the nose. Relatively tame hops and alcohol both come out some on the finish but neither are much of a factor. A little watery but generally a good taste and a beer I’d have again.

Tap @ Victory... Poured clear reddish/amber with a thin head. Aroma of malts and big time candied sugars. Overall a sweet driven beer with malts and fruit esters and a mild acidity to offer a freshness to the finish.

Can from Auchan, Serris, France.
Pours a glassy amber with a nice aroma of sweet, wet autumn leaves and lightly roasted sugar bread. Taste is a watery copper mess that leaves my tongue begging, Why? Watery mouthfeel. Probably sat on the shelf too long but oh well. I’ll rate this one bad for both the taste and that rude ass French bitch at the kids clothing store across from Auchan in Val d’Europe mall. Sorry, you cunt, that I didn’t want that outfit and made you exert .0000045 kilocalories of energy reattaching the sensor tags. I hope you are beaten by your first born child when you are old , and I pray that you can’t control your bladder..

Can. My first Biere de Garde. Orange color. Aroma was fruity. Taste fruity with cvaramel and strong in alcohol.

aroma is mostly malt and caramel. it’s clear copper with a thin, off-white head. flavor is fairly sweet, slightly spiced, with a long malty finish. it’s a bit thin and flat, but nicely smooth. it’s alright overall, with some tasty malt, but a bit too sweet, like all french beers.

Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse, 2010.
Pours clear amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, light earthy. Highish carbonation, fine and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, caramel, light toasted, subdued earthy and flowery hops. Drinkable.
