Ungstrup (10415), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 7, 2003 The aroma is sweet with notes of malts, yeast, and spices. The color is orange and it has a fine but disappearing head. The flavor is of sweet malt combined with spices. A really good Biere de Garde. Papsoe (9242), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 2, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Pilsener golden with lots of floating impurities. Nice head that sticks to the glass. Very hoppy nose - fresh and floral. Very aromatic with soft, fruity touches from the added wheat. Some late bitterness doesn’t completely balance a distinct sweetness. 101003 kp (5800), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 9, 2007 Name: Prin Temps

Rastacouere (5106), Saint-Lambert, Quebec, Canada Feb 5, 2006 Clear light gold, 1cm tall sticky white head. Light, soft, simple and refreshing nose greets you with mineral and floral aromatics. The malts feel light on the palate, bringing on a pleasant dryness without exaggeration. Herbal and lemony flavours are propelled from the gentle hops. Clean, herbal, soft. Very light bodied, lagery, simple and pleasant beer with lowish carbonation. Good stuff that you could drink several portions of in a session. harrisoni (4551), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 4, 2006 75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Oh bugger, someone has gone and brewed a beer into a style that I find completely entrancing. Like the Noels, the French breweries all look as though they produce a Printemps as well. This is so much better than the standard blondes due to the stronger influence of hops. In no way is this beer perfect for everyone, but for my taste buds it is wonderful. Gold colour thick white head. Yeast and woody hops aroma, citrus fruit all over the creamy mouth and then sharp hop on end. After cycling home from work, this was perfect. I must organise more meetings in Calais.
