Clean golden body with medium white head. Aroma has a strong sharp yeastiness to it and a light grass back aroma. The flavour has a light spice to it the grassiness of the aroma drops off and a light sweet malt coats my tastebuds... leaving me a bit off place in describing it properly... other then to say unusual for myself. Creamy body and nice carbonation. Decent over all.

Aug 16, 2008 Pour is a bright golden with a large white head. Aroma is nice with a lot of musty funk and grain. Flavor is very thick and sweet with some breadyness and corn syrup. This one started off good but went downhill fast with the thickness. I don’t think this style should be so heavy.

Aug 15, 2008 Pours golden orange with a white head. The aroma has the earthy mustiness that I like in Biere de Gardes, but is a touch sweet. Medium slick body with sharp frothy carbonation. The taste has the aroma traits, but is a lot sweeter, almost syrupy sweet. Fair at best. If the sweetness had been muted a bit this could have been quite nice.

Aug 7, 2008 Bouteille 330ml, courtoisie de Blankboy. De couleur dorée et claire. Nez de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé et notes de foin) aux notes florales, de grains de malt pâle, léger de pain avec des notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes) ainsi que des traces de maïs sucré. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et un peu croustillant ainsi qu’une texture aux notes crémeuses. Léger goût fruité (zest d’agrumes, traces de pommes) accompagné de notes d’épices (poivrew très doux) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute rapidement un goût de grains de malt pâle sucrés et un léger goût de pain (traces de maïs sucré en arrière-goût). Parallèlement, l’on retrouve une moyenne amertume asséchante de houblon herbeux (herbe et gazon mouillée et notes de foin) et légèrement floral jusqu’en finale. Post-goût moyen et sec, moyennement amer de houblon herbeux aux notes florales ainsi qu’avec des notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes).

Jul 17, 2008 Brown bottle, 330 ml, best before 14/12/2008, purchased at the LCBO, savoured on July 17 2008; eye: golden, extra clear, slight effervescence, white head that falls rapidly and becomes a tiny ring, a bit of lacing; nose: light grain, light malt, light perfume; mouth: foamy, grain, caramel, light malt, light floral, finale in caramel with a hing of perfume, mildly sweet, medium-thin body, average carbonation; overall: so?

Bouteille brune, 330 ml, meilleure avant 14/12/2008, achetée à la LCBO, savourée le 17 juillet 2008; œil : dorée, extra claire, très légère effervescence, mousse blanche qui tombe rapidement et devient un petit anneau, un peu de dentelle; nez : léger grain, léger malt, léger parfum; bouche : mousseuse, grain, caramel, léger malt, léger floral, finale en caramel avec une pointe de parfum, moyennement sucrée, corps moyen-léger, carbonatation moyenne; en résumé : bof!
