Quite fizzy, medium brown, modest taste, pretty boring really. I wouldnít bother with this.

Really nice chocolate malt aroma. Nice deep brown colour. The taste is a bit thin, hops quite peppery but thereís no real body. The palate is too fizzy to be blunt. Bet itís a nice beer on cask though.

£1 bottle from B&Mís. Rarely ever get two of anything but Iíd enjoyed this on tap whilst in The Lakes so I got two bottles. A very tasty beer for a 3.5%, with a rich malt flavour. Nice frothy head to start with which wasnít lost. Best £1 (well £2) I spent this week.

At a modest 3.5% this bitter punches well above itís weight in the taste arena, with a rich malt flavour and lasting nuttiness. That, together with itís easy-going drinkabilty makes it more than the sum of parts. In summary, try it.

With an alcohol content of only 3.5, this beer is quite malty and nutty as it promises. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
