Quite fizzy, medium brown, modest taste, pretty boring really. I wouldn’t bother with this.

Scharfer Geruch nach Tabakrauch und Hefe mit krassen Kaffearomen, auch im Geschmack. Leich wässrig. Aber zu krass Kaffee.

Thanks to Sean (Seanyfo) for this bottle! Dark nutbrown colour. The smell is toffee, roasted malt. The beer starts mild, a bit roasted. Nice. Hazelnuts, toffee, bitterness that gets more intense to the end. The beer is not too intense, but not watery. The aftertaste is long, bitter-malty, dark chocolate, nuts, dry. --> Nice bitter, but I miss the typical notes of a traditional bitter ale. --> 11/12/10/10

StueyD (1115) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2013
a mid to dark orange brown coloured beer with a frothy but weak white head. A malty aroma, other cereals are present like corn and oats, plus a slightly nuttiness. Dry mouthfeel. The taste is bitter, pithy citrus fruit, and grassy hops, which is soon balanced out by a dry, nutty malt flavour. The finish is long and bitter.

Pizd (432) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2013
(Bottle): Pours a clear dark amber, small off-white head. Aroma is malty with touches of nut and not much else, a tad weak on the nose. However, nice malty taste with flavours of nuts, caramel and biscuit. Fair bitterness and quite drinkable. Not bad.

Morrisons. Dark amber. Darkish malty taste with roast notes and earthy hops. Good nutty session beer with impressive body. Tasty.
