An award-winning golden bitter from an all malt brew, with Styrian Golding hops added at various stages, to give a classic hop flavour and aroma.

Bottle. Very little aroma just a bit of dank malt. Not much flavour either just a bit of caramel and light bitterness. Forgettable.

Bottle. Dull - no more to say, but guess I will have to. Appearance is the highlight, it goes downhill rapidly on taste, palate and aroma. Thin flavour, if this was the only beer to drink I’d be tee total.

Plytkie i wodniste piwo o blado zoltym kolorze z biala piana. Wyrazna goryczka w smaku z lekkim cytrusowym finiszem. Nic ciekawego

Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Shared with Marko and hrabren. Dark golden coloured, small off-white head, slightly sulphury nose. Water with notes of sulphur or similar chemical compound with touch of caramel and herbs. Something is wrong here...

0.5 l bottle from Pivoteka Zagreb. Shared with Marko and Ogi. Clear golden, almost invisible off white head. Industrial malts and hops, watery. No distinct taste, no finish. Like a watered down soup cooked in dirty water or something. Terrible.

Shared with Ogivlado and Hrabren. Golden body. Smells burnt... matches. Burnt hay. Something like that. Sulphury, cabbage. Oh, and malt. What the.... Burnt apple taste. Sweetish, vaguely bitter, vaguely sulphury... unappealing. Saved by a tiny touch of lemon pith. Oh great...

Bozo_skeleton (858) - Grenoble, FRANCE - AUG 12, 2015
orange clair avec une légère carbonatation collet moyen. Aromes d’agrumes et de miel. Saveurs fruitées / fleurie se combinent assez bien. Le cote mielleux est un peu trop present.

Where and how: b 500 ml.
Aroma medium intense. Slightly peppery hop notes with toasty malts behind.
Appearance :
Top: larger, lasting creamy cap.
Base: hazy amber gold.
Palate : lighter bodied, lighter carbonation, even watery.
Taste: plain watery base with slightly toasty malts with late notion of bittering hops.
Other notes there are many more nice bitter ales that this one.

Bottle from Co-op, New Mills, Derbyshire. Pours pale amber with frothy white head and obvious high carbonation. Looks like a run of the mill pale lager and tastes rather like one too, IE not of a great deal. Some citrus in the finish saves it from being very forgettable.

500ml bottle. Golden amber, big foamy head. Tropical fruit and grain aroma. Metallic oaty honey flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. Much better than expected.
