Golden ale with dull after taste. Not great on the palette. If anything a summer drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Cellarbrations Sandy Bay 151214. Fruity with a dry finish. More golden ale than bitter. Smooth and easy to drink

Pours golden opaque, 1 finger head foamy , lively carbonation, with a bitter like finish, smooth texture, refreshing overall, not bad.

Thanks to Sabīne,
poured pale yellow, clear with thick, frothy top leaving light lasing. Aroma- pure honey like sweet malts, no hops fruitiness. Taste is medium bitter for style and surprisingly differs from sweet aroma, light sweet from malts, short aftertaste, not dry. Body- seems too full for bitter, could be golden ale instead- thick, sirupy, slick, but overall drinkability remains good. Nice one timer.

Pours clear pale amber with a one finger of white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, minimal patchy lacing. (3/5) Nose is biscuity pale malt, grassy hops, hint of fruit. (5/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Light body, medium to low carbonation, lingering bitter finish. (3/5) Pretty similar to Marstonís EPA. Maybe a little more bitter, and I think it tastes a little better than it smells - which, to be honest, isnít saying check of a lot. Nothing remarkable, easy drinking with a pleasant enough bitter finish. (10/20)

Beautiful to look at. Beautiful well balanced head over a golden colour. Low carbonation and lots of suds and soapy tastes. Great.

Pours hazy golden with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is straw malt and a little oxidized. Taste is slightly offputting from the oxidation, straw and biscuit malts with slight honey and earthy hops.

Pours brown & sudsy into the glass. Aroma is muddy vegetable broth, which seems to be a signature of the style judging by the beers in this Marstonís 6 pack. Thereís actual bitterness here -- I know, I know the style doesnít actually call for authentic bitterness -- & thereís more hoppiness (another rater below calls the hops here dandelion-like & he is dead on) than others in the sampler. 2nd last bottle in the 6 pack & itís been pretty underwhelming.

500 mL bottle. Orange. Just a ring of head, but it laces nicely. A fairly hoppy bitter, but the body is a tad on the thin side. Certainly drinkable, but nothing special. Stands out for the hops, I guess.

Part of the Marstonís PLC 6 Pack. The beer pours an amber hued gold with a thin snow white head. The aroma is very grassy with some weak floral hop notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grass, hops, and some light fruit notes. No caramel to speak of, which I expect out of a bitter.

Metalchopz (2402) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 12, 2014
Part of the Classic Ales 6-pack at the LCBO for Christmas 2014. Pours a slightly unfiltered golden-amber colour with a frothy cream warm cap, good retention and some wavy-creamy lacing. Aromas of bread, caramel malts, soft hops that give out hints of vanilla and dandelion. Creamy and oily mouthfeel with a tad of dryness. Flavours of toffee and grass. A little more bitter than most bitters.
