Bottle from Morrisons Berwick (4/£5). Great colour, clean gold and firm white head, GOOD LOOKING GLASS OF BEER. Fresh fruity hops on the nose, very smoooth palate, with hops dominating, there is a gentle maltiness in the background. Refreshing, without being bland. Must confess to having a soft spot for Jennings beers, but that apart , this is great stuff, would love to try the cask version, must lose the wife and kids for a weekend and make my way to Cockermouth, have visited the brewery, very nice it was too!

Bottle from Metro Wines, Syston, Leics. Golden colouring. The most like an APA, I have ever tasted from a British brewer. All the nice elements are present and very tastily put together: malt base, with a sweet citric bite and a smooth hoppiness that lifts it above something like Batemans Spring Breeze. Nice carbonation and balance. Excellent refreshing and satisfying beer - easily the best of my New Years Eve celebrations.

courtesy of oh6gdx - hazy dark orange colour with a huge white head; nice lace; citrus and orange peel show up in the nose; moderate malt body, some tart acidity plays with a moderate sweetness and builds a balanced and lively palate; fizzy and fruity finish, quite long and with late notes of caramel

Poured from the bottle, a clear light amber with slight carbonation with a large frothy head. Aroma is of citrus and honey. A fruity/flowery flavours combine well and it is clean and crisp as it moved easily through my mouth.
