Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Thin grainy malty beer, the discussion mentioned spelt, an old style grain, which means we couldn’t come up with anything else, a little dull unfortunately.

Cask @ The Hand and Flower, London. Pours clear golden with a nice white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, sweet, hoppy and floral. Flavor much like aroma. Finishes shortlived watery bitter malty.

Cask at Hand and Flower, Kensington, London. Golden beer, lasting white head. Malty bready aroma, fruity notes. Hoppy spicy flavor, a bit harsh at first. Dishwater notes.

On cask at Agricultural Hotel, Penrith. A straw golden ale with a white head. Quite a herby ale with a sharp finish. Not to my taste.

Cask.Tried in the Isle of Man,July 2011. Blonde with a reasonable amount of hops.Clean suummer like and refreeshing. Certainly one of their better ones.

Floral aroma. Small white head. Clear golden coloured smooth and a little thin on the palate. Fruity with a hint of dryness in a slightly creamy malt finish.

Cask, William Wygston, Wigston. Golden with an off-white foam. Aromas are light toast malts with lemon and gentle spices. Yeasty with hints of apricot. Flavours are thin lemon with cardboard and biscuit malts. Some sharp citrus with floral notes and yeast. A bit dull.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 5/04/2011. Golden coloured with a slight white head. Sweetish cereal malts with a touch of fruit and moderately bitter finish. Suffered in comparison with the Taipan.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Straw with a thin cream head; attractive lemon aroma; light and creamy texture, grainy taste with a touch of lemon; and a biscuity finish.
