2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I liked this even with it,s wartery taste, very mild with little after taste, this is something I would drink cold to quench a thirst. Got a few bottles from B&M and would get some more if in stock. Clear body but again head didn’t last very long bit to fizzy for an ale in my mind.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
500 ml brown bottle, nice label, 4.7% abv, bought at Eurospar.
Scents of hops, and then sweet malts.
Persistent off-white tight head on the amber golden body.
Taste; hops, bitter, roasted malts, grapefruit.
Grainy to palate, a bit soapy. Ending with bitter malts, smoked wood.
Overall this is a more bitter bitter than the less bitter bitters I’ve tasted before. Goes down slowly, and better with food, dinner, barbecue a.s.o.
