Sampled close to its home, in the heart of the Lake District. Golden and slightly cloudy, with a good head and a creamy mouthfeel. Not much aroma; taste is mostly of malt, softened by a touch of caramel. Slightly bitter finish.

Palate: brad malts intensify sweetness, light bitters coming up in the average-long finish. Overall: average bitter, well-balanced sweets but lacks complexity otherwise. Metallic aroma. Golden brown colour. Tastes like off goats cheese. Horrible lingering taste in the mouth. Can't really get over the smell. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Relativ säuerlich vom Geruch, karamellig-buttrig. Der Geschmack ist dann extrem buttrig (Acetyl), leichter Anklang von Babykotze.

Cask at the Brown Hare, Penwortham. Pours clear gold, thick foamy head. Light malt aromas, light grassy hops. Clean finish, bit watery. Fine, except why have four beers on that are essentially the same? Must do a place review...
