Clear golden color, small white head. A bit honeyish flowery hoppy nose. Flavor is flowery and woody, a bit harsh hoppyness in the finish. Lingering fruityness in the aftertaste.

Cask conditioned handpump Racehorse Northampton. A golden beer with a whitish head and lacing. An inoffensive beer whose honey is never overpowering. In fact it’s pretty clean and drinkable. A tad dull but it could have been nasty.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dense white head; crisp grainy aroma; sharp citrus flavour; lightly bitter finish. A pleasant pint, but no sign of any honey.

Cask at the Oxfford, Macclesfield while watching United win. Slowly settle to gold with thick bright white head. Looked like it had had some new and improved Daz, a whiter white than usual. A decent amount of honey in, certainly detectable in the aroma but not too much in the flavour. Usual malts and hops, honey, fairly standard stuff. Dry finish. He he he Cockermouth...
