Full bodied bitter with a delicate hint of coffee and raisins. Traditionally brewed to give a lingering, slightly sweet finish. Easy drinking beer with a delicate hop flavour Ė make sure you donít spill a drop.

Lovely tasty bitter. Very smooth and soft. Gentle graininess, a little nutty. A good quaffer. Accompanied the Tiddlywinkers drinking games very well.

On tap at The Ropewalk, St. Paulís Square, Birmingham. Clear light brown. Aroma of toffee and caramel. Mildly bitter, buttery, very drinkable without having much of a finish. Decent bitter.

Cask by handpump at Wee Howff, Paisley - clear amber, bubbly white head, vegetable aroma, sweet, hint of caramel, fairly high carbonation, refreshing, easy to drink, no prolonged aftertaste

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2012 This pint just tasted like a regular bitter, not very imaginative, straight hops and bitter ending.

An unusual Sweet golden bitter with hints of liquorice in the aftertaste. Sugary aroma.

Cask conditioned at The Bell, Banbury. Amber with white head. This proved to be a basic bitter, sharp, slightly metallic note on the malt, boiled vegetable hints, earthy hop. Nothing special but nothing off.
