Very thick, utterly stable, dirty-creamcoloured head over redbrown to chestnut, clear beer. Caramel, toffee and mocha, sweet. Faintly roasted. Bitterish-roasted, with burnt caramel all over, and surprisingly little sweetness, if any. Bit of parsley, and again mocha. After some time, hints at hops. Light to maybe medium body, certain slickness, feels better carbonated than it looks. Not too sweet, which is good. Still, I’m sure I would prefer a cask in the Lake District.

roasty, red, clear, tan foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness, full body, thin feel, soft carbonation, an old ale if ever i had one. it’s a darkish red and tastes roasty and slightly sour/fruity, . soft texture and low carbonation mean you can nail it down happily. very nice.

A reddish brown coloured beer with a thick off white head. A light malty and bready aroma. Dry mouthfeel. A dry malty taste, nutty and a hint of burnt sugar. There is a bitter hop flavour in the background. The finish is well balanced between dry malt and bitter hop.

Subtle caramel aroma. Very dark brown but not black. Slightly fizzy. Quote a chocolatey taste. Fizzy on the tongue. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Poured into the 50cl Leffe goblet .. Good ass brown looking beer with robust ass cream. Smells skunky ,so fuck wasting my time talking about it . On the palate everything is dictated to by pasteurised vibes. Malt tang giving brown bread . caramel ,some dried fruit . Kida earty hops and wheat . A bit of roasted malt giving chocolate bitterness .some good texture but skunky vibes hold this back.

Dark brown pour with off white head, caramel malt aroma, caramel taste bit earthy wet leaves woody some fruitiness.

Bottle from the Spar. Appearance - dark amber with some red chinks. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - honeycomb some smoke and some chocolate biscuit. Taste - toffee and burnt biscuit. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - quite gnarly but good complexity.
