Thomas_E (4814), Copenhagen, Denmark May 7, 2008 Cloudy orange colour with a white head. Malty, fruity and light yeasty citric aroma with some spicy notes. Sweet fruity and light yeasty flavor with an acidic finish.
after4ever (1652), Brier, Washington, USA May 1, 2008 50cl. Thanks, Maria! Poursa a cloudy-to-opaque darkish orange with a thick and fluffy white head. Falls quickly to film and leaves intermittent stringy lacing. Has a sourish, funky, footy nose. Comes on a little sweaty but it’s not diacetyl, it’s definitely a combination of the wheat and the yeast. It’s nice once you get used to it. Very creamy body on the high side of medium. Active carb, feels a little sharpish, but there isn’t overly much of it. Oranges, spice, and a candied fruit quality on the mid-palate. Doesn’t have a super dimensional flavor profile, but the body is just lovely--creamy and dense at first, but doesn’t cling to the tongue at all, just moves right along. Very satisfying and a bit offbeat. Could definitely make me appreciate the possibilities that come with lager yeast. Belgisk_Olklub (205), Viby J, Denmark Mar 29, 2008 Bottle. Average size creamy white head that’s diminishing fast. Spare lacing. Cloudy orange body. The aroma is dominated by a smoked malty profile and citrus and orange from the hops. The body is medium and has a oily texture and average/soft carbonation. The flavour is rather sweet and only light acidic and hoppy. FrankJohansen (2555), Sabro, Denmark Mar 27, 2008 Bottle. Hazy yellow colour with a medium creamy head. Here stops the fun. This one is clearly infected in every war.Very acidic and ugly aroma and taste. Did the head brewer from Samsø stop by? cab (693), Denmark Mar 24, 2008 Bottle.50cl. Aroma has a hit of infection, rotten eggs and soya. Taste was metalic and smoke. Watery in feel.
