2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 TheGrandMaster (2313) - Auckland, - NOV 9, 2007
Bottle, a slight haze to the light gold colour with a large foamy white head. Lots of fruit and yeast in the aroma. Yeast again in the flavour, an earthy palate - especially in the finish.

22 oz. bottle, $5 at HyVee in Iowa July 2010, kept in the fridge since then. First, I want to respect this for being, as the label says, totally sourced from Argentine-grown ingredients. And for being brewed, if you’ll Google Map the location, in a village so far up in the Andes that anyone stepping out back for a smoke is in Chile. That said: Pours a golden color with amber highlights, some particles floating around. Sudsy head. Smell is malty and beery, a touch of fruit ester. There may also be a note of bacterial contamination, but I can’t say for sure. Taste seems pretty square within the Blond Ale style. They’re calling it an Argentine White Ale, but I only get barley malt here. Slight note of wood smoke. Just slightly tart. A bit of dead yeast way in the background. Frankly, I kind of like it. Maybe it’s the luck of a well-sealed bottle kept on a shelf without too much light. Ah, but trying to pour the rest of the beer into the glass brings up a big chunk of sediment.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 5000 (4113) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Straw in color, large rocky white head, spotty lacing, mild carbonation.   Looks okay at
least.   Soft grassiness and floral notes on the nose.   Little bit of DMS/Band Aid on first sip.
Otherwise a bit mealy.   Not as bad as other seem to be rating it, but certainly not great.   Loads of straw
or grasiness on the tongue, especially on the finish.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Some fruit skin on
the finish.   A little bit of a metallic twang emerges after the finish.   Honestly, not as bad as everyone
says it is, but certainly not great.

Appearance: clear golden. Aroma: light vanilla, lemongrass. Taste: bitter, light citrus/lemon. Finish: medium, bitter, mineral notes. Notes: Boring, not very good.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 hellbilly (3053) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 25, 2010
bottle from the distro 6/4/10.
darker pour than expected and slightly hazy.
oddly medicinal aroma... bitter dried herbs, spicy hops, dust and old stale grain.
the flavor is medicinal as well... terribly bitter and dirty. crisp sharp texture is irritating and drives the awful flavor further into my tongue.
this may be the first beer i have truly spit out... curiosity won’t even let me swallow this crap. yucky... 3/4/1/1/3/1.2
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 thedm (4126) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 10, 2010
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of yellow brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a semi-hazy with floating particulate yellow white colored body. The mild aroma was floral and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of floral coriander hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

This beer is very different. It smells salty and tastes salty with some underlying fruit characteristics. Good carbonation and froth but lackluster. Probably a good food beer but not with pizza or wings.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 BroSpud (1179) - , Massachusetts, USA - MAY 23, 2010
Sample at Julio’s Spring Beer Fest (disclaimer - memory somewhat blurred after perhaps a few too many samples) And again, not impressed

This beer was very bad with little to no flavor except for some bannana or maybe vanilla. Lots of foam and water and not much else...

I bought this beer for a new country rating, and it turns out I already had a rating from Argentina - I really need to stop doing that - anyway, this beer isn’t nearly as terrible as the ratings suggest - the first whiff presents tart, dry, white wine character, but deeper sniffs reveal, surprisingly, nothing at all - weird - fairly creamy mouthfeel - a bit earthy character up front, some crisp herbal bitterness, dry malt qualities - things are a bit muddled and indistinct, and the bitterness hangs around in the finish for a bit too long - not terrible, just boring - when will I stop being suckered in by marketing phrases like "fine aged ale" in fancy-schmancy gold lettering?
