Draught at the brewpub. Pale brown colour with low head. Buttery, diacetyl nose. No maltiness noticed. Butter again in flavour with acidic notes. Really watery without maltiness or bitterness.

Draught. Low creamy and lasting off-white head. Clear dark brown body. Malty caramel nut aroma. Malty sweet caramel flavor with little hops bitterness. Pretty anonymous. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

Murky medium grey brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, bread notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration, grain, medicine, brew mash. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. [20110125]

Bottle. Amber of color without a head. An aroma of sweets and caramel. A flavor sweets and caramel, no hops.

Tap at the brewpub. It’s dark brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of butter, roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is rather sweet with notes of butter, roasted malt, caramel and it has a touch of smoke and ashes in the dry finish.
