2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2004
Light golden, short head and lacing. Sweet caramel bready malts were the predominant flavor - light hop bitterness in the finish. Body was grainy - like granulated sugar - this added to the seemingly overly sweet tastes.

This was fair...it is kind of cheap though...and very local to where I am. I’ll grab a six of this over the macros any day and display my pride in local beers

Pretty good ale. Aroma was like rotten apples, and it seemed to lave large bubbles in the glass when poured, which made me wonder if I’d made a bad choice. But the flavor & finish was OK. Not best of breed, but a decent beer.

Pours amber/orange, with a caramel aroma. Taste is caramel and hops. The body is thin. Better than the BMC’s, but not realy good either.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 hopdog (7053) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2004
Poured a medium hazy orange/amber color with a large off white head. Mixed malty (caramel) and hoppy aroma and tastes. For some reason I wasn’t expecting much from this (it is from Jesey) but was somewhat surprised. Not a bad beer and quite drinkable.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 sloth (2102) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - JUN 26, 2004
Small offwhite head, short lived, no lace to speak of. Beautiful clear amber color. Malty, slightly metallic nose, hints of toffee. Medium body. Caramel malt flavors, some butterscotch with a hint of hops. Finish is fairly dry. Thanks to my wife for grabbin this up when she was in Joisey. Brewed by River Horse.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 raymow (745) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2003
Looks and smells like a glass of iced tea. Nice reddish color, not much head with a small amount of lacing. Tastes surprisingly hoppy - not what I expected. Not bad.

Dusty, wheat aroma. Color is a clear amber. Decent chunky head. Flavor is thin with a good bit if maltiness. Finish is suprisingly well rounded. I could get used to drinking this beer.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dorwart (2163) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - NOV 11, 2003
Thin head which does not last long. Strange aroma. Smells a little musty. Maybe some peat in there also with a bit of hops spiceness. Color is a very nice dark amber. Flavor is a little biscuity with a decent amount of hops and roasted malts. Flavor is a little thin though. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. A decent ale from the good ole' state of New Jersey.

Pours a deep golden color with a fluffy beige head. Smell and flavor full of hop. Has a good spiciness to it with a clean finish. A decent American ale.
