Bottle @ home. Aroma is red fruits, caramel, some molasses. Okay. Flavour is medium bitterness, mostly of roasted malt, some fruity notes, murky molasses in the finish. Good beer, just not really my thing.

This Belgian strong beer has an aroma full of spices and has a dark brown colour. The tast is lightly bitter with a really long finish. A great quality beer, even on Belgian standards!

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan head. Fruity, dark malty, light yeasty: classic well brewed belgian. Smooth caramelish, wellhidden alcohol. Sweet and fruity finish.

Bottle sample @ 5de Brugs Bier festival.

15 cl. draft sample @ Bruges Beer Festival 2012: dark brown with a slight red hue & tanned head, smells sweet with caramel malts, nuts & sweet spices, taste is sweet with a dash of milk chocolate & cold chocolate drink mixed with full dark malts, Belgian spices, sweet caramel, dark fruits & hint of fitting booziness in the finish, creamy malt & dash of milk chocolate body, not exactly what I imagined going by the name but quite nice actually

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
Pours lovely clear mahogany with a small, staying, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, red berries, mild vinious, toasted notes, light macademia nuts. Medium carbonation, fat and oily mouthfeel. Flavour is toasted caramel, red berries - primarily red currants. Vinious, light molasses. Overripe plums, mild chocolate and lovely malty. Delicious and elegant.

Draught @ OBM’11: Small off white head on top of a clear dark brown colored beer. Smell gass, malts, sweets. Taste light toasted malts, barleys, toasted brown sugars, hint of fruit (red fruit), gas and a hint of hops. Low to medium carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture.
