75cl bottle, #328/500. 20€ and yes, a champagne like beer that yet again does not warrant its price.

9/V/13 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: n/a (2013-448)

Clear deep blond beer, big creamy solid white head (grows in the glass overtime), stable and adhesive. Aroma: is this champagne yeast? I think so. Bit woody, fruity, peaches. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, pretty bitter, weird sour touch, almost bretta-like, woody, yeast. Aftertaste: apple skin, sourish, woody, citrus, bitter touch, dry ending. Nice beer. But is this worth +20€ a bottle? HELL NO!

Bottle shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Kenneth the Great. Pours clear yellow-gold with a fine, white foam head. Sugary white bread in the nose. Tangy flavor, lots of pale malts, light hay. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Doughy-bready malt finish, faint tangy notes. Not bad overall.

Bzart blond - honey gold, translucent with extremely puffy white head, lasting and effervescent. Plastic nose light lactic, hints of sugar and coin. Flavor stings with light acidity, grass and milky peach, soft and pleasant through end, though too effervescent throughout.

Bottle from Hopduvel. Hazy gold color, massive ice cream cone head with long retention and delicate lacing. Aroma of dusty summer fruit. Taste is bitter root, light spice, straw. Tasty.

750mL thanks to Travlr. Pops cork with huge velocity. Wear protective eye wear. Sparkling clear golden. Huge white head with ridiculous retention creating an ice cream scoop appearance. Nose is heavy sugar, something vegetal. Taste is quite nice, actually nicely tangy and mildly lemon acidic. Palate is dry, lemon heavy. Decently refreshing.

Scopey (3243) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2013
Bottle thanks to Ken. It pours hazy golden yellow with a large white head. The nose is tart lemon, sherbet, hay, grapefruit light farmyard and faint sourness. The taste is sherbet, lemony, granny smith apple, grapefruit, acidic edge, minerals and well-hidden alcohol. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Well balanced and rather refreshing. Pretty tasty methinks.

Bottle at Bruce’s B’day at the CBC. Pours hazy amber, white head. Nose is husky grainy, sour yeast, farmyard, tart lemons. Taste is sour and tart, bit too acidic and grain husky.

Bruce’s Birthday Bash at the Craft Clerkenwell. Hazy gold beer with a massive pale cream coloured head. Very airy - frothy. Nice light tart lemon. Mild seltzer minerals. Finishes light and airy with lemon citrus and medium bitterness. Okay.

Bottle @ Bruce’s birthday tasting. Cheers to Ken (I think) for bringing this. The pour’s gold with a medium white head. The aroma’s farmhouse, lemon sherbet, refined sugar, floral meadow. The taste is mild lemon tart, more earthy garden patch. Hints of golden apple and peach. Mild acetic flavors. A bit of wood, mineral. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, reasonably interesting.
