Bit boring beer. Just a midly hoppy blonde. But considering the low alcohol, it’s decent.

Light golden with small very bubbly white head. Yeast, yoghurt, grassy and herbal hops. Taste is medium sweet, with sour touch and bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied, with slightly watery feel and nice full carbonation. Yes it’s light like the bottle says, but stil tasty and the palate is not bad.

0,33 fles, als alias tafelbier. Slechts 3,5%. Zeer licht bier, witte kraag. Aroma is wat frissig, zeker niet sterk aanwezig. Smaak heeft een fris tintje maar is vooral waterig.

Bottle 0.33ltr: Bought this one under its alias LGHT. Slightly hazy gold coloured brew with an slightly bitter taste and have some herbal aftertaste. I can not figure out which flavor it is, but its something herbal.

Douberd (1688) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2013
Stubby 330 ml bottle, bought as LGHT. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 3.5% Bright golden yellow colour on the body, tall white head, thick, with good retention. Light lacing left behind after the foam has collapsed. Mostly sweet and malty aroma and after some swirling of the glass, a light hoppy aroma appears but not strong enough to cover all the off malt aromas. Hints of juniper berries too. Taste is better. Still quite grainy but at least it doesn’t have that annoying malt taste that one finds in low alcohol beers. Little grass and again juniper berries on the finish, managing to save this beer. Kinda. A touch of bitterness on the finish. Thin body, average carbonation. Overall nothing to write home about. By reading the ingredients I was looking forward to it, since it lists hops as goldings and challenger but the end result is somewhat disappointing. Still, a better option than a radler if you’re looking for a low alcohol beverage.

75cl. Hell und leicht im Aroma, etwas wässrig, aber schön hopfenaromatisch. Für ein Leichtbier super!! der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, nett!

Almost clear golden body with bubbly pearl white head. Light fruity aroma, bit floral and light bready malts. Clean yeast. Taste is very light, a bit too much, really. Sure, the abv is low, but I still expected a fuller, or rather, more tasteful body. Still a nice bitterness throughout and I very much appreciated the effort. Still a good brew. (33cl bottle from Bierparadijs)
