09.01.13. White foam, lace, settles fast. Totally clear, light golden color. Aroma is a bit of honey and something strange (yeast?). Nasty bitter taste. Maybe some banana in there, dunno. In the end, not that good. Quite bad in fact.

33cl bottle. Honey and grassy aroma. Yellowish blond beer with a white quickly disappearing head. Lacing though. Something sourish in the taste. Also vanilla, honey and a dry hoppy finish. Not and explosion of taste, but a fine beer.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 Bottle, a gift. 33cl into Duvel glass. Yellow to golden slightly hazy body. Nice white head. Spicy nose, definitely coriander. I think it has some wheat as well. Taste is moderately to pronounced bitter, palate is clean & crisp, refreshing. Well balanced, maybe a bit overspiced. Rerate: very empty and dull.

Test vom 22.2.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,9,9,10,9 - 9,05

Bottle from a cornershop in Antwerpen. Pours hazed straw coloured with a small snow white head. Aroma of yeast and tropical fruits. Taste is citrus with a lively carbonation, dries up at the end.

Gedronken in Buitenlust, heeft een pilsachtige kleur, geel en helder met een witte schuimkraag. Ruikt kruidig en zoet. Smaakt een beetje fruitig, hoppig,

Bottle listed as Maya Blond (6%, 33 EBU with a best before of 01/07/12). Pours with a mostly clear, very pale blond hued body with a very small white head. Aroma of seltzer water, very mild malt, clean, and bland with very mild DMS. Flavors show some DMS, a touch of fruity esters, light malt notes. Medium dry, average carbonation, lighter bodied with a dry finish. Forgettable.

Botella de 330ml. Copa Globo. Saboreada en jun´12. Color dorado y apariencia algo velada. Finallargo y afrutado. 330ml bottle. Snifter glass. Enjoyed on jun´12. Golden color, chill haze appearance. Brief, white in color, crown. A single ring remains on top. Aromas as expected from a Belgian: crystal malt, candies, lemon, sugar, yeast & spices. Tangerine notes. Warming, sugary & spiced flavor at first sip. Slightly orangish bitter. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Lasting fruity finish.

19th May 2012: 0.75 litre cork and caged bottle, well in date, poured into three glasses. Lager looking brew, clear and crisp with a slight haze in the last glass as a minute amount of sediment managed to leave the bottle. Thin white head added to the lager/pilsner appearance. The nose was subdued: light hints of bread and yeast with a sprinkling of malt. The taste was boring: a dry and bitter finish didn’t help the overall experience at all, sadly it didn’t even start off well. Weak and a little thin body wise also. Let’s just say we didn’t get on too well and I’ll not be having another.
