3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 n0mel (250) - - JAN 20, 201309.01.13. White foam, lace, settles fast. Totally clear, light golden color. Aroma is a bit of honey and something strange (yeast?). Nasty bitter taste. Maybe some banana in there, dunno. In the end, not that good. Quite bad in fact.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 tderoeck (3000) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 11, 2013
19/III/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 5/X/13 (2013-256)
Clear blond to light orange beer, big irregular white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet and sugary, very fruity, peaches, sweet malts, hint of citrus. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, quite some citrus, bitter hops, grassy, still very fruity overall. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy hops, some citrus, fruity again, honey like sweetness, bit medicinal bitterness in the end, pretty decent. Very surprised with the low ratings here...
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MrW (225) - Londerzeel, BELGIUM - DEC 26, 2012
33cl bottle.
Honey and grassy aroma.
Yellowish blond beer with a white quickly disappearing head. Lacing though.
Something sourish in the taste. Also vanilla, honey and a dry hoppy finish.
Not and explosion of taste, but a fine beer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bontus (566) - Waasmunster, BELGIUM - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle, a gift. 33cl into Duvel glass. Yellow to golden slightly hazy body. Nice white head. Spicy nose, definitely coriander. I think it has some wheat as well. Taste is moderately to pronounced bitter, palate is clean & crisp, refreshing. Well balanced, maybe a bit overspiced.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Shaney (1735) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - NOV 9, 2012
#689

this is a common, blond, special, blelgian ale. dame taste as 15 beers in a dozen. not bad, but you forget it immidiatley, and whats the point drinking this exact one if it doesnt taste any diffrent? fun if you dig mayas i suppose. not to avoid, but not to search either...
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BMan1113VR (7377) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Bottle listed as Maya Blond (6%, 33 EBU with a best before of 01/07/12). Pours with a mostly clear, very pale blond hued body with a very small white head. Aroma of seltzer water, very mild malt, clean, and bland with very mild DMS. Flavors show some DMS, a touch of fruity esters, light malt notes. Medium dry, average carbonation, lighter bodied with a dry finish. Forgettable.
