3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Bottled) Hazy yellow with a small, white and lacy head. Very fresh lemongrass-vegetably aroma with garlic and spices, maybe curry also. And white meat(!) - very unique. Flavor is ginger-curry-spicy with slightly earthy pale malt. Medium body, slightly foamy carbonation. A very unique beer, the first one ever that smelled and tasted like white, spicy meat drowned in Belgian Triple and water. I like. 4235

19/III/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 5/X/13 (2013-256)
Clear blond to light orange beer, big irregular white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet and sugary, very fruity, peaches, sweet malts, hint of citrus. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, quite some citrus, bitter hops, grassy, still very fruity overall. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy hops, some citrus, fruity again, honey like sweetness, bit medicinal bitterness in the end, pretty decent. Very surprised with the low ratings here...

Gedronken in Buitenlust, heeft een pilsachtige kleur, geel en helder met een witte schuimkraag. Ruikt kruidig en zoet. Smaakt een beetje fruitig, hoppig,

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, bought @ Beer Planet, Brussels.
Pours hazy, pale yellow with a nice, big, creamy, white head. Super lacings. Aroma is sweet, malty, light wheat. Medium carbonation, fine light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, wheat, light grainy, a hint of sweet ginger, elderflower. Very fresh and drinkable but a tad on the sweet side.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale golden beer, with a pillowy white head, though rather quickly receding to some floating fluffs of foam. Malty aroma, yeasty, notes of spices, fennel, pepper and light paprika. Nose is resembling a good Belgian Tripel. Flavour is nicely malty, fruity, quite hoppy. Also reminding of a Belgian tripel. Some anis. Rather sweet, especially when the initial flavours subdue.
I was rather surprised by this beer, it seems a very decent and balanced brew, even though it contains seitan, herbs and cane sugar. Only flaws seem that the cane sugar sweetness is a bit too hard and unbalanced at times, and the beer leaves a rather prickly feeling on the tongue.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours a golden color, a bit hazy, with a white head that lasts throughout. Aroma’s of candy sugar, some sweet fruit, hints of spices and hopbitterness. Flavor is slightly sweet. Body is on the thin side. Mild bitterness in the finish. I expected a horribly herbal/spicy beer, but this is actually quite a pleasant blond beer, albeit not very special.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
75cl bottle. Clear golden with almost non existing white head. Nose : hay and bread malts. Fruity citrus with some floral honey notes. Sip : It’s watery with a bit oily texture, small carbonation. Little sweet with small bitter hop ending. It tastes like a "Saison" beer with a crossing of a simple pale lager.
