Bottle. Dark brown color. Solid creamy off-white head. Malt and caramel in the plummy, almost vinous aroma. Malty sweet, plummy, slightly alcoholic flavor with caramel. Almost full bodied. Nice beer.

Bottle @ WWT II. Pours a clear amber beer with a small off white head. Aroma is slight metallic, malt and very sweet. Flavor is very sweet, light metallic again. Alcohol is very present, but has a slight watery mouthfeel. Decent quad though.

Sampled from bottle @ WWT II. Clear red amber color, small to medium sized beige to light brown head. Smell malts, caramel, some iron, some overripe fruits and leaves. Taste malts, caramel, lightly alcohol, a hint of sweetness and overripe fruits. Medium body, medium to full carbonation.

Lacy yellowish head over hazy amber beer. Sweet, rosewater-like nose; just smells sticky! Taste is better: leafy, bready, like a German Dunkler Doppelbock. Finish is even dry. Medium to well-bodied, long, ever so slightly sticky feel and aftertaste, but not cloying. The nose made me fear the worst. The taste is actually quite OK. Belgian top-fermenting Doppelbock?
