Drank with Liedewij 22-4-16. Beer has quite some taste, pretty good. Sweet and comprehensive. Okay.

Aardig.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours mahogany Brown. Clear red/caramel. Nose of bubblegum, Winegum, sweet Candy. Malts and fusels warming sensation. Strong on the palate. Almost a barley wine. Good.

Bottle from Mam and Dad’s holiday, Belgium. Hazy copper coloured with a thin white head of foam. It has a slight soapy, candi sugar and raisin flavour with toffee and chocolate on the smooth red fruity finish. Not bad.

Dark caramel-brown colour, hazy but otherwise translucid, with a very small tan-coloured head. Smells a bit like a Flemish red, at first - grapes, vinegar, stuff like that - followed by some nice bourbon, maple syrup. The taste is somewhere between an English barleywine and a quad/dubbel, with notes of caramel, apple brandy, maple syrup, bitter hops and alcohol. Medium body, mild carbonation.

Amber coloured beer with cream-colored head. Aroma is fruity and a bit ginger. Taste winey, sweet, spicy with some alcohol in the background.

sample at festival. poured a amber to light brown colour with a tanned head. nose of caramel malts, sticky toffee, raisins, and dark red fruits. taste is fairly sweet. and not as full bodied as you would expect for a 10% abv beer

F: off-white to yellow, creamy, lasting. C: red to dark amber, hint of hazy. A: malty, hint of vinous, sour hoppy bitterness, banana, plums, yeast. T: 0,33l bottle from De Hopduvel in Gent, malty, huge of plums, some vinous, decent bitterness hoppy, overripe red fruits, banana, caramel, warm alcohol finish, medium to full body, good carbo, for quadruple not so robust taste but as for organic beer it could be ok.
