UPDATED: JAN 22, 2009 A hazy golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of sweet malts with herbs, hops and fruits. The taste is bitter and spicey with fruits like citrus and ripe apples. Spices like pepper. The aftertaste is a little bitter and peppery.

[bottle at EBF 2008] Floral hops aroma with some spicy garlic undertones, caramel and orange notes. Cloudy lemon appearance with a lacy, white cover. Orange-bitter flavour with floral hops and very subtle garlic notes. A bit spicy too. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter finish on the edge of the tongue.

Maria (9963) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2008
EBF2008. It’s a hazy, golden beer with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of sweetness, malt, and herbs that turns out to be garlic. The flavour has sweetness and the notes of malt, yeast and garlic meet in an OK way that gives a herbal bite and overall impression. It could be fun to drink with a piece of lamb.

Sampled @ European Beer Festival, Valby. Quite heavy Belgian style in this one. Not particularly well balanced, but tasty.

Golden color with a white head. Plain light earth aroma. Plain body with a light palate with only a hint of garlic. Rather boring but fun to try.

Pours hazy pale yellow qith a very impressice, egg-white head. Aroma is soft, flowery, light sweet garlic and sweet malts. Okay, soft and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is grainy, yeast, sweet garlic, oranges and coriander. Fine and balanced with a nice, fruity, lemony finish.

stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - SEP 15, 2008
Sampled at EBF2008. Pours a golden beer with a large white head. The aroma is sweetness and the flavor follows with malts and sweetness. Has some alcohol. The mouthfeel could use a little hops to balance the beer. An average triple.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2011 Bottle, 75cl at the Belgian Embassy. It poured a slightly unclear, golden body, with a small, white head. Herbal, grassy aroma with a touch of garlic, leaving the malt in the far back. Thereís some malty sweetness in the flavor, but itís mostly like the aroma, herbal and grassy. The garlic is more evident in the mouth. Medium body. The finish has a nice bitterness. Iíve heard horror-stories about homebrew with garlic. Well, this one proves it is certainly possible to make a nice beer with garlic. What is really annoying is that I didnít understand that it was garlic until the company representative told me so. Then suddenly all pieces fell in place. I figure a well-seasoned and well-garliced leg of lamb would be a nice treat with this one. Rating: 6-3-7-3-14-3.3. 080410

Bottle, at Oud Arsenaal. A golden one, unclear, and topped by a finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a nice herbal touch, with pale malts, sugar and citrus fruityness. Quite dry on the palate, with sugary sweetness, pale malt notes and a touch of citrus and bitterness. A bit sweet, but really nice anyway. 110429
