Golden color with a white head. Plain light earth aroma. Plain body with a light palate with only a hint of garlic. Rather boring but fun to try.

Pours hazy pale yellow qith a very impressice, egg-white head. Aroma is soft, flowery, light sweet garlic and sweet malts. Okay, soft and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is grainy, yeast, sweet garlic, oranges and coriander. Fine and balanced with a nice, fruity, lemony finish.

Sampled at EBF2008. Pours a golden beer with a large white head. The aroma is sweetness and the flavor follows with malts and sweetness. Has some alcohol. The mouthfeel could use a little hops to balance the beer. An average triple.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2011 Bottle, 75cl at the Belgian Embassy. It poured a slightly unclear, golden body, with a small, white head. Herbal, grassy aroma with a touch of garlic, leaving the malt in the far back. There’s some malty sweetness in the flavor, but it’s mostly like the aroma, herbal and grassy. The garlic is more evident in the mouth. Medium body. The finish has a nice bitterness. I’ve heard horror-stories about homebrew with garlic. Well, this one proves it is certainly possible to make a nice beer with garlic. What is really annoying is that I didn’t understand that it was garlic until the company representative told me so. Then suddenly all pieces fell in place. I figure a well-seasoned and well-garliced leg of lamb would be a nice treat with this one. Rating: 6-3-7-3-14-3.3. 080410

Bottle, at Oud Arsenaal. A golden one, unclear, and topped by a finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a nice herbal touch, with pale malts, sugar and citrus fruityness. Quite dry on the palate, with sugary sweetness, pale malt notes and a touch of citrus and bitterness. A bit sweet, but really nice anyway. 110429

330 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, golden body with a small, dense white head. Moderate aroma of malt and a hint of spices. Flavor is fruity, malty with a hint of spices. Well balanced, not particular sweet and nothing indicating the high alcohol level. I’m found of garlic, but had a big trouble identifying this flavor. Nice, but to anonymous.

Bottle. Mostly lasting white head upon a hazy yellow-golden body. Distinct herbal aroma with some fairly sweet malts. Notes of acidolous fruits. Medium sweet flavors, wheats, and fruitiness from lemon and green apples. Some spicy/herbal notes from the garlic is lurking in the background. Medium body. Spices, dry fruits and a delicate bitterness in the finish.

Biobier sampled from a bottle at BBF in Oslo. Slightly foggy, golden body under a lasting, white head. Sweet spicy aroma. Organic hops and rich herbal-spicy taste where a light note of garlic can detected. Fruity and yeasty ending. Medium to full bodied. Masked alcohol (10.04.2008)
