Unique beer. Pours an orange amber color. Crisp smell, of apples and garlic. Taste of apples, with a little bit of lambic. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear goldblond coloured beer with large diminishing white head. Yeasty hopped aroma with bread hints. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hopped bitter with dry ending and rather alcoholic hints bit too much of the last, not well balanced.

75cl bottle. Hazy orange with a big white head. Nose : tart, banana fruit notes, light cherry notes , esters, vanilla , spices. Sip : Low to medium density, low to medium carbonation. Sweet tart feeling with caramel and hay aromas. Sour and little bitter hop ending. Mild hop and tart ending. OK.

33cl Dumpy brown bottle, best before 19 Nov 2011, poured into a Duvel glass on 10 Mar 2011, slowly, ensuring no sediment entered the glass. Mid golden body, almost dull and certainly not the regular bright tripels often found in Belgium. Clear with small bubbles rising through body from the Duvel ’D’. On top was a full, deep, white head, impressive considering how slowly I poured the beer. It left some heavy lacing as the beer level fell. The aroma was yeasty and hoppy, with a nutty hints. The refreshingly crisp taste was a good combination of hops and crystal malts. Easy to drink and it hides the alcohol content very well, I was impressed. A good beer and one of the many enjoyable Belgian tripels I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing.

#1242 Ziemlich belangloses Tripel, um es gleich vorwegzunehmen. Hefig und etwas rezent, zu stark malzbetont, leicht spritig...aber vor allem fehlt mir ein Tripel-würdiges Aroma!

Bottle at De Palace in Poperinge. Orange cloudy beer with good head, in its own glass. Tastes yeasty with a bit of hops, and of alcohol. Light yeasty aroma. Quite decent rather than very decent, doesn’t do that much to stimulate the tastebuds.

Bottle at Cafe buitenlust, Oirschot. Cloudy golden / orange color, whtie head. Smells a little spicy, though not too much. Tastes lightly fruity, lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Very nice mouthfeel, suits the ABV.
