4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml - Black, dark tan creamy head. Spicy blackened marshmallow aromas ride a soft undercurrent of vanilla coffee and dark chocolate throughout. Peppery black fudge flavors round well with a sturdy foundation of dark roasted coffee, vanilla bean, and ash. Deeply rooted hop bitterness throughout keeps any perceived sweetness mostly in check. Full bodied with medium carbonation. Not your ordinary Imperial Stout, but very tasty none the less…

Aroma is very chocolatey, not a lot of roast, some fruity yeast in there. Subtle coffee. Nice body. Lots of chocolate in the flavor, very bitter. Awesome hop finish. really bitter. Some floral hops. Carbonation isn’t there, really creamy mouthfeel. Bitterness lingers, finishes very strong and dry. Pretty awesome flavors going on.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark greige head over jet-black beer. Coffee, black chocolate, roasted barley - serious stuff. Cigarette ash, coffee dredges; finish is sweet coffee, served with black chocolate and a dash of mole sauce. Alcohol very present in the finish. Very thick, viscous, voluptuous MF; warming alcohol. Very good Imperial Stout. Txs to the Dewberries!
