Bottle from beer_no_evil. Pours a semi-murky gold with deep orange hue. Aroma is funky with oak and some lemon tartness. Taste is very tart, slightly astringent. Bright flavors of lemon and oak slip in with some menthol-esque flavors in the finish. Decent sour, nice complexity.

Hazy caramel orange-tan in color.... Aroma of oak, stone fruit, funk, lemon tartness... Flavor is sweet initially, blue cheese, funk comes through towards end, on palate... Caramel and oak notes... Delicious

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: the beer pours with a small beige head that fades away quickly, the beer is a very hazy and non transparent orange type color , lots of particles in this beer when you pour the whole bottle
Aroma: some funk, very tart, kind of faint
Taste: very sour, tart, barnyard funk, some bitterness is there, can taste the alcohol warmth, some red wine hints
Palate: average carbonation, leaves mouth very dry, moderate mouthfeel, bitter and sour aftertaste
Overall: very complex beer, very high in both flavor and alcohol, should be sipped slowly, it’s also very good,

750 ml bottle I’ve had for a long time and was glad to finally open. Pours a cloudy apricot color with a small to medium eggshell white head. Aroma of tangerine, peach, lemon, apricot, oak, sweet dough, yogurt, and light lactic acid. Flavor of citrus, oak, florals, sweet malts, funk, cheese, and lactic funk. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, funky, lactic mouthfeel. Interesting and complex and fruity.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, lemons, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle on snowy Tuesday. Pours gold with fluffy white head. Nose and taste of french wine, citrus, oak, white grape, rustic tartness, lemon and light hay/horseblanket. Lighter medium body. Lovely delicate sour.

750ml bottle shared by dudeabide. Pours a hazy light amber color with a small frothy white head. The aroma and flavor had tart citrus, mild acetic acid, oak, light bourbony notes, a splash of vanilla, mild funk, earthy character with mild bitterness to the finish. Light to medium body, easy to drink for 9% and a wild.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
One of my favorite Jester King Beers. Some subtle fruit notes in the nose, slight hop aromas, covered up with some funk and tartness. Taste is crisp, tart, earthy and slightly citrusy with a great over all sour back end.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
My Bottom Line:
This tantalizing Barrel-Aged Wild Ale presents juicy tropical fruit riding on a fine saddle of wild yeast, galloping towards a citrusy, tart horizon.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam decorates the misty blond shine.
-There is absolutely no sign of the 10% abv.
-Grapefruit flavors abound.
-The flavor profile is ever so elegant and seamless.
-White grapes also appear within the fruitiness.

Bottle@ Guren. Golden clear. One finger foam. No alcoholic feeling a all. Mango pineapple. Earthlike Brett aromas. Tart dry with some sweet initial touch. Long mouthfeel. This brew is in the premier liga.
