COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boxer’s Revenge is inspired by the hearty “stock ales” or “provision ales” produced by some of iconic farmhouse breweries located along the Franco-Belgian border and named in honor of the stalwart workhorse in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. It combines delicate notes of tropical fruit, citrus and spice from the primary French farmhouse yeast with tart, rustic, earthy notes from the Brettanomyces. A final dry-hopping with fresh Cascade and Centennial hops adds yet another layer of depth and complexity.

Jester King Boxer's Revenge A-Rather clear, bright orange. Slightly hazy. Fizzy one finger head. Head disappears quickly but still has some lacing throughout. S-Sweet and tart notes of peaches, green apple skin, bit of hay, lemons, green grapes, slight hint of oak & maybe whiskey. T- Quick grape and peach tartness blended with a hint of whiskey. Light kind of dry, funky, white wine flavor in the middle with some oak notes and finishes with a solid barnyard/straw flavor and more oak. M-Medium mouthfeel, moderate to light carbonation. Good warming alcohol at the back of the throat. Super easy drinking for 10%. Dry, but not overly so. Very smooth brew and very well blended. O- Again another great beer from Jester King. This is a must buy when you see it. I would have liked it to have a bit more depth to it, maybe a little more sweetness, but it was still excellent. -

Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, lactic acid, sour apple and pepper. Quite sour flavour, lactic acid, brett, light vinous, some wood. Quite fresh. Sour finish, lime and citrus. Very drinkable and fresh, nothing too special but definitely not lacking anything either.
