COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English pub ale meets the French farmhouse tradition and American oak aging in this dry, drinkable farmhouse mild ale. Full-flavored, but brewed with enough restraint to be highly sessionable. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally conditioned.

Unclear medium to dark brown - orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dusty malt, moderate yeasty, wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, dusty malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130427]

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a huge off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish. Mild citric, dark roasted malty and caramelish. Bitter and roasted. Yeasty, light spicedand towards mild herbal. Yeasty and light fruity finish.

Bottled. A hazy red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, brettanomyces, caramel, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, roasted malt, brettanomyces, wood, and straw, leading to a dry finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle @ Bobby’s house. Amber pour with an off-white head. Nutty, toasty aroma. Some seltzer, mineral, and pepper. A bit of coffee and cocoa powder. Flavor is kind of bitter, a little bit tart, and very mildly sweet. Toast, coffee, and lots of nuts. Seltzer water, iron, and some coffee. A bit of cocoa and lemon on the finish.
