Bottle (750 ml). From SlovakSniper, thanks! Hazy golden with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly of brettanomyces along with plenty of fruits (apricots, citrus), nice funk, light tartness and floral presence. Taste is very fruity with brettanomyces, leather, wood, nice tartness, minty notes and a light floral presence. No alcohol feeling here, it’s drinking like a 4% abv beer. Light body. Low carbonation. Dry finish. Heavily drinkable despite the lack of carbonation (a little more could really help). Enticing aroma. Good use of the brettanomyces. Another good one from Jester King!

Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement heuileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence d’agrume sûrette en arrière goût. (Rating #5411)

Pours a sienna orange color with a touch of gaseous bubbles rising to the top. The nose is funky barrel fruit, apricot, nectarine mango and even a touch of acidic cranberry and orange zest. The palate follows the nose with lots off fruit soaked funky barrels notes, some doughy malt presence and a trace of leathery wood on the finish.

750ml bottle from IPB. Clear yellow with very small head. Nose great citrusy tartness with horsey brett notes. Woody tannic notes with very light acetic notes. Light tropical fruits bretty notes. Some honey on nose as well. Taste brett with citrusy notes. Tannic wood on the finish. Very soft carbonation maybe a bit too soft for the style. Finish light alcohol and light spices. Overall fairly nice brett profile with nice acidity and tartness. Palate could be improved a bit. Fairly astringent finish.

750 ml bottle poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of straw, barnyard funk, lemon zest, yeast and white pepper. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, barnyard funk and lemon zest with a smooth dry lingering funky lemon finish.

Pretty tasty beer. Light hoppiness and some spicy yeast esters. Mild tartness and a bit oc a lactic presence. I get a little spicy hoppiness. Funky and nice.
