Incredible what a few months can do. I had my first uberkind in January. Tasted more like a funky saison than anything else. Tonight though, the sourness really picked up. Funky and sour. I was really impressed with tonights bottle. I need to get more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear golden with a patchy white head. The aroma has peaches, brett funk, vanilla, cream, spice, huskiness, white raisins and ripe fruite. It has a medium body that’s sharp at the beginning, then smooth and velvety with a light amount of soft carbonation. The flavor starts with toasted malt with a hint of caramel. That is quickly overtaken by some sourness and funk with apple, pepper, licorice, lemons and sulfur. The finish is quite sour, but also has some biere de garde must. As it warms some sour green apple shows through. Quite nice.

Bottle (I think) at Churchkey for the Craft Brewers Conference. Poured a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some tropical fruit notes, some funky notes, yeast. Flavor was some light barrel character, some fruits, some funk notes. Pretty enjoyable.

A - Hazy golden-orange with a finger of frothy white head. Fades fairly quickly. S - Wheat, sweet grainy malts, lemon zest, tart green fruits, lactic acid, funky yeasts, Belgian yeast, Brett. T - Wheat, sweet grainy malts, tart green fruits, lemon zest, lactic acid, funky Brett, Belgian yeast, some coriander and other spices, citrus hops. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a tart, funky, and dry finish. D - Nice sour saison. Good overall balance and complexity.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of tropical pitted fruits, barnyard funk, yeast and some oak. Flavour brings out oak barrels, considerable funk, brett and dry pitted fruits – excellent blend of flavours, with high complexity. The brett stands out, accentuated beautifully by the barrels, leaving a wonderful funky character on the finish. Excellent stuff.

Hazy straw with a thin white head. Great sweet and sour, woody, lightly funky aroma and the taste is even better. A lot going on in this one.

Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sour, wood, sweet fruit, light funk, earthy. Medium bodied. Flavor has a nice sour and funky start, fruity, floral, light spice, a bit of citrus, and light yeast. A bit of a bitter, sour finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from Errl. This pours a golden color that manages just a small white head on top. Not much sticks so there’s hardly any lacing. It smells fruity and funky with grapes, soured candy, some leather, a wood-barrel scent, and a touch of vegetation. The flavor consists of tart citrus, funky lactic tartness, sweet velvety herbal notes (chamomile, lavender), and dusty white wine. Crisp finish with a little bit of citric acid. There’s something odd in the flavor; maybe it’s the funky leather I picked up in the aroma. Interesting beer and unique.

@BBF12. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is malt, light caramel, grapefruit and light acidic notes. Flavour is malt, grapefruit, light acidic and citrus.

750ml bottle at RBWG. This is quite a nice sour, a bit weak in the head buy a nice sour on the back end without much of a weird aftertaste. Quite a nice brew.
