Bottle. Pours semi-cloudy orange with white head. Nose and taste of oak, white wine, grape, lightly soured stone fruits, saison yeast, lemon and light malt. Lighter bodied.

750 ml. bottle. It pours a golden with a huge pillowy white head. Lots of effervescence. The aroma is very horsey and leathery with some dried apricot fruit and milder notes of peppery spice. The flavor is dry, carbonic and wild with more dried fruit notes, leather and mild spice notes in the finish. Maybe a touch of vinous oak, but no whiskey. Very crisp and refreshing, yet pretty challenging. Very fun beer.

Slow gusher as others have noted (be warned). Pours at first a light golden but a cloudy yellow afterward. The small milky head leaves some lacing. Aroma is really nice: a soft sour impression, tropical fruits and light spices. Some funk. Taste is dry-ish with a nice (and much appreciated) quenching sour kick! Flavors are like a sour peaches/apricot juice, really. Carbonation is lively, making this ultra drinkable. I must say that I am impressed, I need more!

The bottle is slowly gushing bottle; cloudy blond color, with medium sized but short lived head. Nice aroma, there is cellar, lemon, sweat, fruity character. Dry and highly carbonated mouthfeel; quite good character, cellar, cedar peel, orange; moderate acidity, well under control, and correct bitterness.
Very nice.

Bottle 750ml.

Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate to light heavy tart - sour, barnyard, leather, brett, wood, fruity. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, leather - brett, fruity, hoppy, citrus hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130628]

Thanks Ole!!! Very drinkable saison with a mild tartness and fantastic flavors. Like an explosion of flavor all over the palate. Delicious!

My Bottom Line:
Wilderness, citrus zest and spicy hop greenness yield a tart, fruity and woody finish for a unpretentious and highly pleasant Wild Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the cloudy beige.
-Acidic splash sticks to the palate.
-Initially highly effervescent, but dimming quickly.
-This is very rustic and fun, but it could be more polished.

Bottle.

Bottle: The aroma consists of heavy citrus, orange peel, light lemon, and a hint of wine. I am a hazy dull golden-orange with a small white that quickly fades to a thin ring. The flavor starts with with moderate-heavy citrus with light orange peel. The finish has light sour lemon, oak, and white wine. It?s light bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottle - Pours hazy amber with a foamy off white head. Nose is fruity and dry, with some peach and lightly peppery spicy pale malt. Less fruit in the taste, with pale malt, dry pepperiness, and a spicy finish. Lots of carbonation and pretty thin. Not much in the way of barrel, and not really sour. Tasty.
