3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Jeff in Texas. Pour is much clearer than the Uberkind but a similar golden straw pour with a thick white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is primarily yeast.. def a saison character.. oak, peach, white grapes, floral, which a slightly sour undertone. Taste very similar to the nose.. oak, light fruit, some spice..mostly cinnamon some cardamom, earthy. High carbonation with a champagne dryness. Overall a nice sour and saison yeast balance but carbonation was overdone and distracting. Much tastier after it had warmed up a bit.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, wild yeast, grapes, and light wood. The taste is wine-like and a little bit tangy, but the dominant flavors remind me a lot of a thin wheat with souring yeast. Itís sour, just barely. Light-medium bodied and a touch fizzy. Kind of weak, though it would make a nice alternative to most session type beers, if it werenít so expensive.

Bottle thanks to errl. Pours a hazy pale copper with a ring of white foam. Aroma has a citrusy tart zing and heavy brett with some peppery notes. Taste is just slightly tart. It has a peachy taste to it as well. Overall itís pretty tasty, just not as sour as I would prefer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A light fruitiness with balanced phenolics and well integrated funkiness. A citrus quality with a touch of pineapple. A light background graininess and a touch of lactic acidity. No hop or alcohol aroma.
Pours a cloudy orangish hay with a thin white head that quickly recedes. No lacing and no legs.
Flavor starts with a nice acidic kick. This follows with some citrus and pineapple. A light barnyard flavor then ushers in a touch of graininess. Moderately low bitterness. Finish has a touch of a clove phenolic note. Nice mineral quality to the water. No hop flavor. No alcohol flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium light body with moderately low carbonation. Only a touch of astringency and very low alcohol warmth.
Overall this is a really enjoyable beer. It has a nice saison character but with a really good acidity. I could go for a bit more fruitiness in aroma and flavor though.

Pours cloudy blonde with a thin off-white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a mildly sour fruit flavor with a dry earthy finish. Very easy to drink, though not as sour as most saisons..

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by Kan. Thanks! Pours a pale orange-gold with a billowy head. hazed. Nose is really nice. Fruity & tart, loads of Brett C. Peaches and clean. On tasting, light & dry, medium tartness. More peaches and a robust brett profile. Lactic acid and some light vanilla. Quite clean and seems intentional.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Hazy golden colored, white head. Lambic-like nose, yeast, fruity. Pretty sour flavor, quite harsh, but not very complex. Lasting sour finish. No match for the classic Belgian lambics, but certainly a nice try.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Thanks to mar for the trade... Bottle opens with a small hiss and yields a mostly transparent orangey brown hue and topped with a thin wispy white head... Aroma of semi-tart oak and whiskey notes, lemony a cents and a touch of nuttiness, perhaps coconut... Flavors are more of the same with a lemony sour focus. Clean with a whiskey and oak profile but remains fairly sour throughout. Pretty darn nice and at 4.5% to boot which is really nice.
