Yellow hazy white head. Smells of brett, barnyard, hints of fruits and malt. Dry, light sweet, quite musty, medium sour, very refreshing and drinkable. Moderate bitter finsh. A funky brew for sure. Hope to try this again some time

750 ml bottle into signature tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy bright golden amber color with a 1 finger foamy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of tart apple, lemon, pear, orange zest, pepper, clove, wheat, hay, grass, floral, funk, oak, light leather, light vinegar, and earthy yeast spiciness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of yeast notes with moderate barrel and hop notes. Taste of tart apple, lemon zest, pear, orange zest, hay, grass, floral, pepper, clove, wheat, oak, funk, light vinegar, and earthy yeast spiciness. Light tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, citrus, floral, pepper, clove, oak, funk, light vinegar, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of hop, yeast, and barrel flavors; with good robustness of flavors and no cloying after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy, lightly acidic, and smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent sour saison. All around nice balance and complexity of yeast, hop, and barrel flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with almost no head at all. The aroma is dry and the sourness is very evident. The flavour is very sour and yeasty. It’s crisp and refreshing, but won’t be to everyone’s taste.

Bottle at home with my wife. Pour is hazy orange-amber with a small white head and decent lacing. Huge tropical fruits - pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and papaya - bretty, somewhat oaky, peachy, white wine, somewhat floral, and lemony aroma. Taste is fruity, tart, lemon peel, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, brett, some what funky, peppery, doughy, straw, pears, and green apples with a medium sour finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Tasty stuff and very sessionable.
