Capped 750 from ericandersnavy. Pours hazy orange gold with a transient white head. Mild earthy/sour/citrus aromas. Med body. Mildly sour flavor with earthy citrus. Finishes dry and sour. Tasty.

Bottle shared by Kan. Thanks! Pours a pale orange-gold with a billowy head. hazed. Nose is really nice. Fruity & tart, loads of Brett C. Peaches and clean. On tasting, light & dry, medium tartness. More peaches and a robust brett profile. Lactic acid and some light vanilla. Quite clean and seems intentional.

On draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Hazy golden colored, white head. Lambic-like nose, yeast, fruity. Pretty sour flavor, quite harsh, but not very complex. Lasting sour finish. No match for the classic Belgian lambics, but certainly a nice try.

750ml bottle. Thanks to mar for the trade... Bottle opens with a small hiss and yields a mostly transparent orangey brown hue and topped with a thin wispy white head... Aroma of semi-tart oak and whiskey notes, lemony a cents and a touch of nuttiness, perhaps coconut... Flavors are more of the same with a lemony sour focus. Clean with a whiskey and oak profile but remains fairly sour throughout. Pretty darn nice and at 4.5% to boot which is really nice.

The beer is hazy and straw yellow with a small and fleeting white head. The aroma offers citrus, wild yeast, a touch of lemon, maybe pie crust (malt). Quite good. Easy to drink, light in body. Like a lighter version of RR Temptation. Good stuff, I would have this again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-31-2012

750ml from mhenson on BA - thanks, Matt! Fairly still light orange pour, cloudy like a Berliner and a semi-tart nose thatís similar. Some lacto bacillus and young peach skin in the nose, along with sourdough and a twinge of bitter herbs. Mouthfeel is lightly oily, could use a little more liveliness to it. But I dig the sour flavors, complemented nicely by the herbal and whiskey twist. Fun one with Christmas Chinese food.

Bottle. Poured a hazy dark pink orange color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate earthy sour fruit aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer for style.

750 ml bottle to taster. Looks Good; a semi-transparent orange with white lacing. Smells good, sweet, tart, citrusy, spicy, and funky. Tastes like it smells, but not quite as good. Average on the palate. Good beer.

$13.99-750 ml bottle. Hazy golden with a small head. Aroma has lemon, spices like pepper and coriander. The taste has a dominant yeast character with some more spices followed by a lemon tangness. The finish is fairly dry with some wine barrel character showing up as it warms. A refreshing beer and I would like to drink this in the TX summer but itís price point is fairly high.
