(Rating #5414)

Bomber. Pours a hazy pale gold with a large white head. Aroma and flavor are classic saison goodness with an extra dose of lightly sour funk. Lots of citrus and light fruit (melon, peach, tropical fruit). Notes of grass, spice, grain, light breadiness. Spritzy carbonation. Wonderful! And I love the low ABV.

750ml bottle, thanks to phaleslu. Opened at a party. Half hazy golden orange color. Thin white head. Couple dots of lace. Moderate to bigger sour taste, pretty nice. Lemony citric aroma, some wheat. Medium body. Lighter carbonation, kind of a sticky finish. Tasty, punchy sour to sip on.

750ml bottle (b4) thanks to cparles! Pours cloudy bright orange with 2 fingers of fluffy head. Nose is slightly tart orange rind, fruity yeast. Taste is orange, peach, clementine, tangerine, yeast, little bit of funk. Taste is mildly tart citrusy hay and straw. Very good!

Wunderkind smells and drinks as a well made saison with some tart characteristics. Crisp and super refreshing, a zesty citrus bomb, very sessionable, loved every second of it.

Bottle... Pours hazy and golden with orange highlights and a small, bubbly, white head. The bouquet is a mélange of melon, peach and apricot with only a rumor of phenolic spiciness. Light-bodied and dry with prickly carbonation. The flavor is sour, grainy and bitter - mostly sour with a modest measure of bread crust bitterness. Finishes tart, tongue-numbing and dry. Bottle courtesy of Rosebud butternuts!

Sampled at THE FESTIVAL 2013 in Maine with Andrew, Jay and Kramer. Pours a light hazy body. Aroma is pure funky saison - notes of grass, lemon funk and lots of tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium, zesty, zippy with nice lemon tartness, peach, funky melon, grass, light dankness and earthy character. Great sour saison.

Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2013. Fruity smell and taste with some apples and funky aromas. A fairly mild sourness. Interesting.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy amber/copper with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of light sour/tartness, some oak, a little pale and caramel malts, and some light fruits. Flavor the same with a nice, light tart note. Average texture. A pretty good beer,
