Pours hazy orange with a large white head. Smells earthy and funky with a touch of sour. Taste is primarily sour with subtle earthy funk tones. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and mildly fizzy mouth-carbonation, Jester King Das Wunderkind finishes with a soft lingering tart prick.

Mousse parfaite couleur ambrée et trouble magnifique. Des pointes de citron vert et de pomme, une acidité qui se marrie parfaitement avec l’amertume, vraiment très bonne et intéressante.

Bottle (750 ml). Clear bright golden with a medium fully lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma is of brettanomyces, tropical fruits, light wine, oak and light spices. Taste is mildly sour with brettanomyces, tropical fruits, winey notes, oak, light peppery presence and yeast. Light body. Moderate to good carbonation. Slightly dry and winey mouthfeel. Despite being mild and amazingly drinkable, this beer is also quite complex. The barrel treatment is really well done. Another superb Sour from Jester King!
