Pours hazy orangish golden with a rather thin white head that leaves lots of trace while dissipating. Smell is sour, fruity and funky with crackers, dark grapes, unripe plums, dry soil, barnyard, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, red flowers, hay and lemon zest. Taste is sour, tart and funky with lemon juice, crackers, green grapes, unripe pineapple, barnyard, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, mango, papaya, passion fruit, dry wood, dry soil, green grapes and juicy plums. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tart and light bodied. Finish is sour and tart with lemon juice, grapefruit juice, hay, dry soil, green grapes, mandarin oranges and lemon zest. Nothing too complex, just fine refreshing stuff!

Bottle at home with my wife. Pour is hazy orange-amber with a small white head and decent lacing. Huge tropical fruits - pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and papaya - bretty, somewhat oaky, peachy, white wine, somewhat floral, and lemony aroma. Taste is fruity, tart, lemon peel, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, brett, some what funky, peppery, doughy, straw, pears, and green apples with a medium sour finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Tasty stuff and very sessionable.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer. The aroma has notes of lemons. The flavor is acidic with notes of lemons and malt.

[5/4/13] Draught at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Hazy golden. Great funky aroma with barnyard and lots of fruits and oak. Sour funky flavor, fruity, a bit zesty, with lots of farmhouse character. Lemony finish. Medium-bodied. Very good and refreshing.

Bottle from Errl. The pour is this rusty orange color with a fluffy off-white head that settles down as a thin layer. This smells funky and fruity, with peach, tangerine, kiwi, and grapefruit coming to mind. There’s light yeastiness along with notes of straw and barnyard hay. The flavors are tart, crisp, and a bit dry. It’s light-bodied and quite refreshing; dusty yeast, straw notes, and tropical fruit. There’s a bit of oak barrel character in the background with something resembling a light white wine. I can’t say I pick up the whiskey barrel, though. The finish is dry and palate cleansing, leaving me ready for another sip. At first I thought this was a touch too light and thin, but as I work through it I really don’t think that’s the case. As it warms it seems to come together a little more. I like it’s light, delicate nature, and the drinkability is off the charts, making it a winner in the Florida sun.

Pours hazy golden yellow with a big white head. The nose is light lemons, grapefruit, some peach and pineapple, light hay straw and some bread. The taste is medium sweet and low medium sour with low bitter. Kinda boring though, I expected more. The texture is soft, the body is medium and the finish is long.

On tap at CBC, pours a hazy golden with an insanely white head -- problem with the keg. Aroma of light funky notes, farmhouse notes, an yeast -- very saisony. Flavour of lightly tart farmhouse notes, light citrus, and wheat. Very light and refreshing, with a lightly tart citric quality. Great stuff.
