Jester King Das Wunderkind A- pour hazy cider color with a nice fizzy looking head. The appearance reminds me of a fuzzy peach or something. Quite a bit of lacing sticking to the glass. S- tart peaches and lemons with some barnyard funk and straw aromas. It smells very tart. T- Surprisingly it's nowhere near as tart as the aromas would have you believe. Slight lemon tartness up front with straw and funk again and a hint of white pepper and bitterness on the finish. Very mellow, subtle flavors but still tasty. M- makes my tongue fuzzy. Wanted a bit more carbonation. Still light and mellow. O- Honestly I was expecting more sour flavors, but I guess it's a Saison not a sour. This would be Le Petit Prince's big brother. Moderately complex, highly drinkable. Needs more carbonation though. Not bad. -

Shared by ericteusink at 4th of July. Wild barnyard, hay, and yeast aromas and flavors. Little bit of sourness on the finish with some pepper spice. Light lemon fruit working throughout.

Cloudy straw. Really peppery and dry. More of a saison than a sour. Tasted at chris’ ultimate bottle share.

Bottle at home. Pours light yellow with a medium white head. Nose is peppery and hoppy, not that sour. Nice white pepper, elderberry and light apricot exotic touches. Not really a sour but more an american style saison.

With Z on the patio on a hot South Florida afternoon, pours a hazy light rusty orange pour with a white head. Nose has mix of sweetness and tartness with some light Brett. Taste is light citrus and punctuated and ends with some pleasant tartness. Ending is dry with citrus and a smooth light tartness. Descent light sour, refreshingly so . quaffs score 7 / 10

Bomber. Pours orange with a white head and tart, sweet fruity aroma. Taste is tart as well, with lots of oak and whiskey along with citrus notes coming through leading to a fruity, tart, oaky finish.
