Jester King Das Wunderkind A- pour hazy cider color with a nice fizzy looking head. The appearance reminds me of a fuzzy peach or something. Quite a bit of lacing sticking to the glass. S- tart peaches and lemons with some barnyard funk and straw aromas. It smells very tart. T- Surprisingly it's nowhere near as tart as the aromas would have you believe. Slight lemon tartness up front with straw and funk again and a hint of white pepper and bitterness on the finish. Very mellow, subtle flavors but still tasty. M- makes my tongue fuzzy. Wanted a bit more carbonation. Still light and mellow. O- Honestly I was expecting more sour flavors, but I guess it's a Saison not a sour. This would be Le Petit Prince's big brother. Moderately complex, highly drinkable. Needs more carbonation though. Not bad. -

Hazy hay hued with a thin foamy white head. Huge meaty and peppery nose, funky saison and grassy tones. Great peppery and blonde malty flavor with a bit of cured meat and earthy funk. Lovely.

From tap. Hazy yellow color with off white head. Funky yeasty aroma, dusty, bretty, barnyard notes, wood, tart citrusy fruity. Sweet and light acidic taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Aroma: lemon and sour grass. Appearance: cloudy with some yeast floaties Taste: tart and some of the essay character. Palate: thin lively carbonation. Overall: taste fizzy refreshing spritzer like with the flavor of the lemon grass you chewed on as a kid.

Cloudy straw. Really peppery and dry. More of a saison than a sour. Tasted at chris’ ultimate bottle share.

Bottle at home. Pours light yellow with a medium white head. Nose is peppery and hoppy, not that sour. Nice white pepper, elderberry and light apricot exotic touches. Not really a sour but more an american style saison.
