My Bottom Line:
Wilderness, citrus zest and spicy hop greenness yield a tart, fruity and woody finish for a unpretentious and highly pleasant Wild Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the cloudy beige.
-Acidic splash sticks to the palate.
-Initially highly effervescent, but dimming quickly.
-This is very rustic and fun, but it could be more polished.

Bottle.

Tap at brewery. Yellowy gold, hazy. Bready nose, with light floral esters, some light citrus and wood in there too. Floral esters in the taste, peaches, bread, cereal, lightly tart yeastiness. Dry and well-carbed. Very refreshing.

Crisp and tasty but not a very complex saison. There’s a slight bitterness there in the finish and just a touch of tartness. Probably would be most welcome on a warm sunny day with some hard cheeses and salty cured meat.

750 ml bottle, shared with my wife. From a trade, thanks Santin! Pours a dark clear golden fluid with a three finger white head. Aroma is really enjoyable with some earthy notes, light yeast, grain and some light lemon. Taste is a bit light but very balanced and nice. Some notes from the barrel, some light bitterness and some funk from the brett rounds it out.

Bue en bouteille de 75cl. B!ère complexe et intéressante. Arômes d’agrume, d’épices et de fruits rouges. Super équilibre. Et superbe étiquette d’ailleurs ;)

On tap at brewery, poured a a milky light yellow hue w/ a white hue. Medium citrus aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a moderate sour finish. Tastes are lemon, white grapefruit, and milk. Medium bodied and watery mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light, mostly clear gold with a white head and lacing. It has an aroma of funk, and faint floral and oak notes. The flavor is lightly tart, with a funk and floral notes followed by sour and slightly spicy finish over a light body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - Lemon, grass, passion fruit and funk. Cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Lemon, dishwater, slight sour funk, oak and a bit of pepper. Smells great, doesn’t taste quite as good.

Had during a bottle share at Pinglehead Brewing in Orange Park, Fl. One of the funky-est brews I have had. Great fruity sour flavors, lacks maturity and depth.
