duft: egetræ. vanilje . rosin. brandt malt. rom. lidt røg
smag: meget underlig øl-. meget vandet da den er gæret langt ned. meget smag af vanilje kakao lakris. sødme egesmag. citrus eftersmag. denne øl er både god og en smule dårlige :S men er meget tilfres ;D

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate sour lemon, light chocolate, and faint roast. It pours a dark brown, virtually black, with a small tan head that quickly fades to a very thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with a very quick dose of light chocolate. The finish quickly turns to moderate sour lemon, light roast, and coffee. It’s medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, it’s decent and the roast and coffee are pretty light, but I just don’t think those flavors work in a sour.

Bottle: Black as hell with a light-tan head that fades quickly to a collar around the edges. Aroma has a slightly roasted & dark malt background with heavy notes of sour apple skins, moderately astringent tannins, faint white wine, cherry, lemon, & lacto. Taste is more sour than expected. Tart lacto yeast, lemon flesh, cherry, & some tart redcurrant. Mild red grape vinousness with a hint of wet oak. Roast is lighter but comes back towards the finish with a hint of char & dark chocolate. Mild acetic & vinegar character grows with warmth. Not bad, but I’ve had more enjoyable "sour stouts" for sure,

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Pours black with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. patchy lacing. Aroma of funky fruit, malt and oak. Medium body with flavors of dark fruits, chocolate malt and oak. The finish is fruity up front with an oaky vanilla aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

A touch on the mouth-puckering side without letting enough of the other character elements shine through, at least for me. Lots of citrus. Pours dark black. Bottle pour at Churchkey’s 5th anniversary.

Bottle at home, shared with James on my 40th birthday, 11/10/14.
Black with a dirty khaki head.
Nose is fruit balsams, dirt, funk, dark fruit rinds, musty wood rinse, light roast, spice.
Taste comprises dark fruit peel, spice, dates, red berry sours, fruit balsams, dank wood notes, tarte red berry.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close washed through with funk and subtle acidity.

Sampled from a bottle I brought to WTWBA 2014 in Minneapolis. Very dark pour with a tan head. Roasted malt, tart dark fruit, maybe some chocolate. Nice.

Bottle midlands tasting group. Black good tan head. Aroma is sour fruits malts taste is very sour chocolate red fruits nice bitterness. Medium body prickly carbonated. Good stuff

750ml bottle shared between 6 of us on 23rd Aug 2014 at the Midlands meeting. Not too sure my delicate palate wanted a sour Stout as beer number 13 on the day. Anyway this beer came out almost if not black, with a thin foam topping. Taste and aroma of an old coffee cup with grains going mouldy at the bottom, a rotting Kit Kat finger nestled on the saucer. I did not take to this beer one iota.

Bottle @ Midlands Tasting Group Aug 14, at Richie’s Hop Palace. Pours very dark brown with tan head. Taste is very sour chocolate with roasted & dark fruit notes. Really not my cuppa tea.
