750mL thanks to djd07. Great tan sheety lacing atop a deep cola brown pour. Nose is spot on for "sour stout" with roast, cranberry, chocolate, hefty vanilla in there to boot. More like a cranberry chocolate muffin. Taste is a clean dark sour/Flemish red with cranberry, bitter chocolate bitter, vanilla bean oil. Bright, mild cranberry acidity matches with dusty cocoa powder for a German chocolate cake like mix. Really nice; much better than expected.

Holy cow a sour stout, amazing, thank you GT2, one of my favorite beers now, Consecration and Event Horizon had another child and named it Jester King Funk Metal.

Pours black with a thin brown head. Roasty, sour green apple aroma. The roasty flavor that hits you is immediately covered with sourness. I did not expect the sour to blend well with the roastiness of the a stout but it does. It makes for a very refreshing, extremely dark beer.

Un gâteau forêt noire acidulé et hyper atténué, ce qui laisse le caractère de la stout assez enfoui, finale lactique.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2013 Near black with a medium head. Aroma had sour berries, roasted malt and lacto bacteria. Flavor was sour with sour berries, roasted malt, lacto and balsamic notes. Finished sour. Just right. What I’ve been waiting for. Lovely.

On tap at Beer Temple. Black colour, no head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, toffee, berries, tobacco, wine barrels. Flavour is sour, hard roasted malts, toffee, acid. Very acidic actually. Medium-bodied. A waste of good stout imo.

From tap at Beer Temple during the second brett days. Pours pitch black with a small tanned head. Aroma has quite a lot of roast, some coffee and a slight sour note. Taste is much more sour than you would expect from the aroma, medium sour, slight roast, soft bitterness. Strange combination that does not really work for me.

Bottle. Black pour with tan head. Aroma is sour dominated. Roasted stout finish with sour fruit and Brett like funk flavors.

PotjeBier (1442) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2013
On tap @ Beer Temple during the 2nd Brett fest in A’dam, with joes, caesar, borrestein, TheJvd etc. Almost black color. Beige head. Aroma’s: hard roasted malts, a bit of soy sauce, but retronasal there a lot of sourness, with roast. Flavor is sour and lightly roasted bitter. Medium bodied. Meh, sour impies - not my cup of tea.

Bov (9077) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 1, 2013
from Erzbierschof - dark reddish-black beer with a poor head retention; roasted malts, ashes and chocolate, some sourish cherry notes; full-bodied, moderate carbonation, a pretty assertive sourness; quite dry and hoppy with long cherry, earthy and chocolatey notes - very nice and original profile for a great astonishing beer
