COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re pleased to announce the release of our latest beer – Le Petit Prince Farmhouse Table Beer. Le Petit Prince is a 2.9% ABV farmhouse table beer brewed with pilsner malt, two row malt, pale malt, pale malted wheat, a touch of Caramunich and acidulated malt, lots of Czech Saaz, East Kent Golding and/or other hops (depending on availability) and farmhouse yeast. This is a beer we’ve been excited about for quite some time now, as we believe that it’s a clear, simple expression of the delicate, delightful interplay between noble hops and farmhouse yeast.

Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured a clear, dull gold color with a white head. The aroma was of farmhouse bread, a bit of funk, yeast and some earthiness. The taste was light, but not flavorless. Decent.

750 ml bottle from Party Source. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium plus sized head that is mostly lasting. The aroma has pilsner malts, mild sweet malts, light herbal, grassy and citrus notes with some yeast. The flavor is dry pale malts, grassy, lightly herbal, light yeasty bread with a mild bitterness to the finish. Nothing bad here, just not much to work with either.

Bottle - Lightly hazy golden color with a thin bubbly white head. Nose is peppery, with dry pale malt, and a touch of pear. Lightly floral and spicy. Taste isn’t quite as good, with similar flavor as the nose but with a bit of plasticy astringency. Finishes dry, but with a little pear fruitiness. Medium-thin body with ample biting carbonation. Amazing how much flavor this packs in for 2.9%. Drinking a 750 of this myself was really pleasant--I could have it all myself without worrying about getting loaded.

Bottle. Cloudy lightly gold. Frothy white head. Aroma of pepper, lemon, floral hops, peach. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Clean and delicate. Tastes of grass, toasted grain, wheat, lemon. Impressive considering its 2.9% abv.

Bottle. Poured hazy amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid light yeast and complex malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. This is a soft beer.

Pours a pale hazy light straw color. The head is big, fluffy, and white, there is a lot of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is earthy and floral... lightly peppery, inviting and a little touch fruity.

The flavor is very good, far hoppier than I had expected, beautifully bitter with just the lightest touch of lavender. The hops are the dominant flavor here, it’s a very herbaceous hoppiness. There are some light lemony notes, and even lighter black pepper notes. The beer is basically very dry, and very easy to drink.

Pours a slightly hazy pale golden yellow with a big fizzy yet sticky head that laces beautifully. On the nose is some light grassy saaz style hops with a rustic cracker malt and a touch of yeast and citrus. The palate is refreshing yet round. Nice carbonation and focused flavors. A touch watery but I prefer to call it subtle considering the abv. Great session beer, wish this beer was on shelves around me.
