COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re pleased to announce the release of our latest beer – Le Petit Prince Farmhouse Table Beer. Le Petit Prince is a 2.9% ABV farmhouse table beer brewed with pilsner malt, two row malt, pale malt, pale malted wheat, a touch of Caramunich and acidulated malt, lots of Czech Saaz, East Kent Golding and/or other hops (depending on availability) and farmhouse yeast. This is a beer we’ve been excited about for quite some time now, as we believe that it’s a clear, simple expression of the delicate, delightful interplay between noble hops and farmhouse yeast.

Bottle, 75cl, at TFODRBSG 2012. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. Lightly citrusy nose with a touch of yeast and maltyness. Some spiced notes. A bit on the grainy in the flavor, but quite pleasant anyway. Citrusy hints, spices notes and a generic fruityness too. Rather thin on the palate, as expected, dry and also a bit heavy on the carbonation. Some bitterness chiming in towards the end. A quite wonderful low alcohol beer, well suited as a lawnmower beer or as a thirst quencher. Gimme more. 120818

Hazy yellow with good, foamy, white head / Delicate, perfumey nose of lemon, tropical fruit, and straw / Watery, although this may be part and parcel of what this beer is intended to be at 2.9 abv, acidic and crisp, with good, bitter finish / Weak but excellent flavors of lemon, passion fruit, bread, and straw / Near beer? Seems like a beer in search of a market that doesn’t exist. Boost the body, and probably the abv, and this would be excellent.

Foggy golden color with white foam. Nice pine, pale wheat, coriander, citrus, straw, bready malt aromas. Medium body with average co2. Light flavors of pale malt, grass, dry spices, light fruits--good

PhillyCraft (3098) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2012
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2012 Bottle, compliments of Keith with Simon and Mike. Pours a very hazy murky golden color with small to med head. Aromas of yeast, bready malt, and citrus hops. Taste is lemon citrus, yeast, spicy rye, ash, chalk, astringent grains. Very dry and aggresive on the throat. Peppery as hell. Kind of hard drinking for the 2.9 percent. Not my thing and a little pricey for me.

Bottle. Very light and refreshing. Mild taste, very balanced - but I wouldn’t mind a stronger version. Saison-like taste.

Best low ABV beer ever courtesy my July Secret Santa. Thanks! Aroma was big and full. Strong noble hops and yeast smell. Like a good saison. Pour was a beautiful hazy light yellow. Almost no color at all. Small white ring for a head. Taste was very full for a low ABV beer. Great balance of the noble hops and farmhouse yeast. Near perfect actually. Nice carbonation. Very complex beer. This beer opened my eyes to the fact that a beer can be low ABV and still be delicious. Would love to find more of these.

Trade from rougeau13 - thanks!Cloudy yellow, thin white head. Smells like freshly baked bread and lemons. Slightly watery, but kind of works here. Flavor is a rather yeasty, with some citrus notes. Nicely flavorful, and only 2.9%...
