3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 11/22/2012. Pours cloudy, murky orange. Aroma is straw malts, lemon wheat, nicely spiced with coriander, light grassy herbal hops. Taste is biscuit malts, citrus, lemon prevalent, sharp grassy bitterness. Light, crisp palate. Straightforward, but pretty nice with good flavor for a light brew.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A hazed blonde gold saison with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, beautiful mix of citrus, coriander, light Brett, very nice. In mouth, a nice smooth saison, with fruity esters, light lemony notes, coriander, quaffable, very nice. Bottle from Bièropholie.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out considerable barnyard funk, some sweet fruitiness, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is very dry and funky, full of barnyard funk, hay, wheat, and very light sweetness. Very dry on the palate, with loads of barnyard funk. Highly drinkable and well-crafted. This won’t get high ratings, naturally, due to the low ABV, but this is really well done. Excellent stuff.

Summer time in liquid form. Rustic and real. CAMRA would be proud. Wish distribution was larger.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle served in tulip. Pours clear to hazy blond with medium frothy white head. Aroma: English hops, pilsner malt, farmhouse yeast and slight frutiness. Taste is the same. This one has pretty low ABV, so don’t expect a lot of complexity here. Still, very interesting for a low alcohol beer. Refreshing and light. I enjoyed it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
FROM NOTES: August 9, ’12. Poured from a 750 ml bottle into a "Beer Hunter" tulip glass.
A: Faint yeast esters, hint of lemon.
A: Fairly hazy light orange golden colored body with a big, fluffy and creamy white head. Nice retention cap along with decent amounts of lacing.
T: Follows the nose. For a beer that’s only 3%, this has a plethora of flavor. Lemon, mint, and wheat notes with faint grassy and peppery hops. Very light and refreshing while not sacrificing flavor.
P: Light and crisp with a moderate but soft carbonation.
O: Very drinkable. Great session Saison that is very crisp and clean but still has some great flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour on tap at GABF, slightly hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought some lemon zest, citrus, hints of grass, nice vanilla, honey in there mixing into some biscuit, bread, some earthy spice. Taste is a mix of citrus, lemon peel, hints of grass, zest and some yeast, nice earth, finishing fairly dry, slightly sweet. Solid.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle offered via pepsican john grocery toss. Soft herbal musty hay. Bcrisp wet grass bitterness. Soft pear provides subtle balance to a rustic leafy herbal bitterness. More foggy wet air. Third eight ounce glass of this was best. Chuggble. Good enough for a Pete.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear, slightly hazy golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall white head that leaves a nice lace on top. Aroma of alcohol, yeast, coriander seed, wheat, lemons, hay, grass, hops and a good light sweetness - very nice smelling! Light-bodied; Sharp hay and grassy flavour with almost no malt to speak of and a very light yeast note with only a hint of sweetness and mainly a kick of herbs and perfumey hops and a pepper note. Aftertaste is fairly bland with the grassy, hay and floral notes coming out with no malt, no alcohol and no sweetness at all. Overall, a good smelling and looking beer, but not enough depth of flavours nor complexity to make this good for the style and/or worth buying and especially worth flying back home with - even more so with the large format bottle. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Central Market in Houston, Texas on 10-August-2013 for US$6.99 sampled at home in Washington on 10-October-2013.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bought several of these and had at various ages and just blatantly disappointed, much like other regular JK lineup. Pours a hazy pale straw color with little aroma, minimal amounts of hops and I get no farmhouse character. Flavor is also subdued, as would be expected for a "table beer" I suppose. Light malt flavor and extremely light hop character. Don’t bother with this beer...for the money, go buy some Budweiser...equally tasty and 1/5 the price.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Medium white head. Clear yellow body with carbonation and some
tiny particles. Fruity funky floral aroma with citric notes.
Dry mealy lemony floral taste with funky notes. Light-bodied.
Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry strawy lemony funky aftertaste with watery
notes. It’s fine, but didn’t enjoy that much. A bit watery and
low on flavour. (0.75l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)
