COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mad Meg is simple in terms of ingredients with French pilsner malt, wheat, a touch of caramunich and acidulated malt, Czech Saaz hops and our farmhouse yeast. It is golden colored and quite strong at over 9% ABV. The palate intertwines delicate farmhouse esters with earthy, spicy hops and clean malt flavors.

Amazing farmhouse ale! Hard to describe but very unique fruity and slightly funky. Flavor develops nicely as this one opens up. Great medium body and deceptively smooth. None of the typical off flavors ommon w farmhouse ales. Awesome!

Pours a hazy burnt orange with gold highlights and a surprisingly (and rather welcome) modest head. Aroma of pepper, tropical fruits, grass/hay, lemon, dough, and white chocolate. Flavor of earth, sourdough bread, caramel, pepper, leaves, grass, and slight citrus. Bitter already and just sweet enough to balance things. Finishes with citrus and sweetish malt flavors at first while the aftertaste reminds me of yams, herbs and bell peppers. Medium-heavy bodied, mouthfeel is nice and creamy and SLIGHTLY hot. Good beer, has lots to offer to both the saison and tripel lover.
