750 ml bottle. Batch #13. Bottled on 09/09/2014. From saveurbiere.com. Hazy golden color with a white head. Dry hops, grainy malt, spices and dryness in the aroma. Nice...very nice! The flavor is strong alcohol, dry hoppy bitterness and dry maltiness. Too strong. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Batch 13 - Pours orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, ripe fruits, farmyard and berries. Taste is heavy, strong and yeasty with loads of ripe fruits and farmyard notes. Finish is heavy, stuffy and sweetish with loads of yeast and ripe fruits, hints of bitterness. Pretty sweet and heavy. Quite close to real Belgian strong ales.

I had this right after Pliny, which probably wasn’t the best idea. Nice hazy straw body. Very complex aroma. Hints o barnyard, citrus, sweets. Taste was similar. Mildly sour. Tons of sweet citrus taste. Probably missing a lot of the complexity since I just drank Pliny, but still appreciate the beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden body with a huge white rocky head. Nose is straw, pale malts, white sugar, red berries and hints of minerals and grape peel. Taste is grape peel, pale malts, white sugar, alcohol and hints of banana, straw and bread dough. Medium body, high carbonation. Pretty straightforward light BSA, nice enough but not fantastic.
