I had this right after Pliny, which probably wasn’t the best idea. Nice hazy straw body. Very complex aroma. Hints o barnyard, citrus, sweets. Taste was similar. Mildly sour. Tons of sweet citrus taste. Probably missing a lot of the complexity since I just drank Pliny, but still appreciate the beer.

ClubGonzo (4549) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 8, 2015
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden body with a huge white rocky head. Nose is straw, pale malts, white sugar, red berries and hints of minerals and grape peel. Taste is grape peel, pale malts, white sugar, alcohol and hints of banana, straw and bread dough. Medium body, high carbonation. Pretty straightforward light BSA, nice enough but not fantastic.

Clear warm golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, apricot, yeast, apple, raisins. Light bitter flavour, slightly tart, light sweet, apple, bay leaf, yeast. Finish yeast, malts, apple, honey, light madeira.
(from 75cL @ home. 8.9% ABV. No batch number to be found, but as the bottle was procured less than a year ago I asume it’s at the right place here)

Pours a hazy straw gold with a white head and lacing. It has a nice aroma of malt, straw, some horse blanket, and a bit of funk. The flavor is light malt and straw up front with a slightly tart finish over a medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample @ ACBF 2015. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme au bouquet laissant percevoir une influence belge levure. Note fruitée fermenté avec un léger rétro-nasal fleuri, euro-noble hops version US. Palais garde, ici aussi, un profil très belge. Pointe de levure sauvage complète le tout. Je note un ajout houblonné noble tirant sur un léger fleuri et fruité. Malt de caractère pâle, pils.
