Woah! This one was another stand out at my local tasting. Nose of roast, earth, chocolate, coffee, and slight smoke. Pour is black with a tan head. Light, earthy chili flavors and roasted coffee went well with the chocolatey malt backbone here. I could drink a ton of this stuff! A big thanks to Matt for this one!!

This beer was pretty damn good. The body was an oily black, and had a whopper-like head. Aromas were of roasted malts, dirt and dark chocolate. Flavors were a bit smoky and earthy, and almost went on to taste like a lightly smoked porter. As it warmed up the peppers came through and had a very satisfying chocolate finish with light bitterness. Supplied by the very generous OmegaX.

Bottle... Pours black with a mid-sized, beige head. Fantastic retention. Chocolaty nose with only a rumor of smoke and nuttiness. Medium to full-bodied with airy carbonation. The flavor is deeply roasted, carbonic and lightly acrid. Smoky peppers and a hint of spicy heat in the finish. Quite enjoyable. Bottle courtesy of ericandersnavy!

Bottle shared by my good friend Waffle, thanks dude! I found this beer to be extremely well balanced and full of flavor. The coffee and peppers really compliment each other well here. Not too spicy but the peppers are definitely in there. A great showing here.

750mL bottle, sent from xpimptastikx (thanks Michael), pours pitch black with a medium, lingering, foamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chipotle peppers, some oatmeal and light chocolate. Flavour of chipotle peppers, tastefully worked in albeit fairly dominant, coffee and roasted malt. Finishes with the chipotle and coffee, leaving a pleasant burn from the peppers. Excellent.

Pours pitch black with a large dark brown, mocha head. Smells strongly of chocolate with a strong coffee presence. Taste is bold: lots of chocolate, coffee, and some spice heat underneath. Full-bodied with a thick, chewy texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Jester King/Mikkeller Beer Geek Rodeo finishes with some solid pepper heat.
